I softly knocked on Amber's door and was greeted by Taylor. She asked me to come in and sit down. A little later, Amber came in and pulled out a chair next to me.

"Thanks, for helping me earlier.." she said while fiddling with her hands. I shook my head and smiled softly.

"It's my duty as an older sister, right?" Amber let out a laugh and I held her hand. I placed a necklace in her warn palm. She stared at her hand for a second before looking up at me.

"What is this? You didn't have to!" she tried to place it in my hands but I ently pushed her hands back.

"It's a charm, with a small peice of my power. It will protect you when I'm not there, but could only be used once." I told her, my voice full of warning. She teared up and hugged me, so I patted her back in a comforting way. After a while, she pulled away and smiled.

"Thank you again. Really, thank you!" then she looked confused.

"What's wrong?" I asked slightly concerned.

"My bruises.. they're all gone! Like magic." she replied, her eyes wide. I smiled.

"My magic has healing abilities, but only when I want them too." I explained. She nodded her head, seeming to understand what I was saying. She broke out into a grin, hugging me again. I chuckled and she hit me playfully on the arm. I then remembered Blake.

"Oh hey Amber, do you know who Blake is?" I asked her curiously. She looked at me as though I was crazy.

"Yeah, he's only like the hottest guy in the academy!" she started gushing about how "hot" he was.

"Really? I met him out in the smaller dorms, and he isn't that good looking either." I said boringly. Her eyes were like saucers.

"You had a run in with THE Blake Adams?" she said suprised. I simply nodded.
