He blinks, seemingly taken aback by what I said.
"You-?"
I roll my eyes, his reaction being just as I expected. " I do, Leo. Of course."
"Oh." He sighs, a big smile growing on his face.
I pull him in for a tight hug. "We good?"
He nods.
As we pull away, he sends me one last smile before heading into the bedroom, which was already open and I've found Dylan taking a bite of his sandwich in the kitchen, leaning against the wall.
"Where did you get that from? We don't have any bread."
"Oh, I've had this since my drive here." He says, glancing at it. "Want some?"
I shake my head. "I'm good, we still have pizza for tonight, anyway." I say, opening the two boxes as I lay them side by side on the counter. "I'm planning a movie marathon, any suggestions?"
"You just smoothed things over with him, doesn't he need time to be comfortable again with you?"
"He isn't like that." I told him. "Leo isn't really the type to hold grudges."
He shrugs. "I guess that's a good thing." He runs his hands under running water in the sink, drying them off on a nearby towel. I grab three glasses for all of us, filling them up with cucumber juice.
"I have some suggestions." Dylan says, slowly making his way to my side of the room. "I have some plans tonight." He teases, grabbing my waist, causing me to almost spill.
"I have a roommate." I remind him, looking up at his deep brown eyes. "He sleeps on the other side of the room, have you forgotten?"
He takes a deep breath in frustration. "I didn't say it had to be here, now did I?"
"No, but in the moment, stuff your face with this." I grab a slice of pizza and place it in between he teeth, he reaches his hand out in front of his mouth in reflex. I smile cheekily and waddle away, innocent, away from the horny boyfriend that I have.
The sound of the shower turning on comes earshot, I sit on the couch, ready to open the Netflix application on the TV. "Could you shut the bedroom door? I don't need another person ogling Leo when he's half naked."
Dylan chuckles as he chews the heavenly triangle slice of tomato sauce and toppings. "Do you and your boyfriend fight this much?"
I roll my eyes, raising an eyebrow at his jealousy. "Are you being what I think you are?"
He crinkles his nose. "Well, he reached out and held your hand, and you told each other you loved them."
I smile, bringing my head back as I laugh. "Oh my god, you are jealous!" I get up, having the marvelous and intelligent idea of moving the pizza boxes from the counter to the coffee table right in front of the couch. That way, we wouldn't have to keep getting up to get more slices. "How come you're jealous when it comes to Leo but never when it was Eric?"
"Because I wasn't threatened by Eric." He answers. "I mean- you turned him down because of me, for me. I was sure he wasn't able to win you over." He places his hand on his hip, once again leaning, but this time, it was the pillar next to the counter.
"And what makes you worry about Leo winning me over?" I shoot him a puzzled, yet amused glance.
"You're roommates, you see each other every day, every night." He emphasizes the last few words as If he's entailing that the both of us do something unspeakable during the night hours. "You're a good looking guy, Leo's a good looking guy, what isn't there to worry about?"
