Chapter 9 of Looking for Angels

Lynn's POV

The whole plane ride was short. I'm moving to Fort Worth which is hours away from my hometown. It only took 2 hours to get there in a plane. All I did was listening to my music and take a little nap to make the ride go faster. It did and before I knew it I was off the plane in Fort Worth looking for my mother's younger sister.

"There you are, Lynn!" I hear a voice and I turn around. I see a woman that is taller then me running over to me with a huge grin written on her face.

"I'm so happy to finally meet you!" She clasps onto my waist and pulls me into a tight hug. I hug her back lightly.

"Nice to meet you too, miss."

"Oh call me Aunt Lilly, sweetheart." I cringe when she called me that. Deanna is the only one to call me that.

"Okay." I smile polity. She smiles back and we walk out of the airport to meet a nice black cameo.

"You drive that?"

"Yes it's the only car I really like to drive in."

"The only?"

"Yes I have 4 more cars, come on." She puts my luggage in the back and hops in the driver's seat. I gently get in with her in the passenger seat. I notice there are only two seats.

"Do you like southern rock?"

"Um I've never listen to it before."

"Well you are going to love it." She says with sly grin and starts the engine. She puts in a CD and loud music filled the car.

"This is Kick It in The Sticks by Brantley Gilbert!" She shouts to me. I smile and sit back in the sit. This is going to be a long car ride. I fold my arms and look out of the window. We pull out of the parking lot and the woman starts to sing with the song. At least she isn't old and mean because that would have been way worse.

The car ride was 30 minutes and we ended up at a huge metal gate.

"This place is going to be your new home." Lilly says and clicks on a button above her. The gate opens and we drive though it. Right off the bat I notice huge houses on each side of the street.

"You live in this place?"

"Yes only cuz my ex-husband got me this great job now I'm rich and living in a mansion."

"What job?"

"I'm the manager of a band for about 5 years or so."

"That's cool. What band?"

"They are called 100% Texans. They are a southern rock band."
