Lynn's POV

I woke up in a daze but remembering everything that happen. I notice a warm hand holding mine. I turn my head to the right and saw Deanna sleeping next to me in a chair holding my hand. She looked so beautiful and innocent that made me smile. I watched her sleep for a few minutes till she noticed I was watching her sleeping, her eyes flutter open and stretched like a cat. She looked so adorable when she did that. I grin so big it hurt my face but I didn't mind at all. Her eyes finally met mine and when she saw me her whole face lit up.

"You are awake! The doctor was right this time!" She screamed with happiness and pulled me into a kiss that took my breath away. I blushed when we broke apart to get oxygen back in our lungs. She stared into my eyes with her piecing bright green honeysuckle eyes. I couldn't help but have my heart beat 150 miles an hour.

"I miss you so much." She whispered softly with her forehead resting on my mine. I blushed even deeper.

"You don't even know how much I missed you too." She cupped my face with her hands and pecked me on my lips real quick which made me want more.

"Do you remember what happen before uh...you know...?" I knew right away that it is hard for her to say die. I didn't blame her.

"Yes I do. Deanna there is something I-" I got interrupted when someone walked into the room. Deanna back away little from me but was still close to me. She looked at the man.

"I am delighted that you are up this evening. I am Dr. Bryan. Do you remember what happen?" I looked at my doctor then to my girlfriend. What should I say? Deanna saw my confusion.

"She told me she remembered."

"Good. Now if you don't mind, I would like to speak to her in private." Deanna kissed me on the cheek then left.

Dr. Bryan sat down in a chair and looked at me. He was showing sympathy towards me. I guess he was the type of doctor that really cared about their patients.

"How is your relationship with your girlfriend?" I looked at the doctor in confusion.

"What do you mean?"

"Let me explain myself more clearly. Does she abuse you in any way?"

"No she has never hurt me before and never will!" I raised my voice at him. How could he say that?

"I am sorry but I had to make sure. You injures were suspicious."

"Its okay."

"Now that we have that cleared up. Let's see how you are doing."

He took five more minutes to check on my progress which is going well. I will be out of this hospital in a few weeks.

"What did the doc say to you?" Deanna asked as soon as she walked back in. She made sure the door was closed before she came back to my side and took my hand.

"He was suspicious that you were abusive to me. No big deal."

"Well I could understand why he was suspicious you looked like someone abused you when I brought you in yesterday. But now you look better once they cleaned you up." She gave me a small smile.
