Looking For Angels chapter 7

Lynn's phone started ringing.

"Now who could that be?" Kedrick says while they wait for their waiter to come.

"Most likely, Pablo." Angelina says with smile.

"Yea it is. I'm going to take this."Lynn says and goes into the women's restroom to take the call.

"Hello?"

"It's Deanna and I'm so sorry for my brother Sam killing your brother. I didn't want this for your family or mine." She cries to Lynn.Lynn was shocked that Sam was her brother but didn't say anything about it.

"It's not your fault. It's none of our fault."

"Thanks but I still feel horrible. Can I see you?"

"Sure. I'm at El Sol De Mexico restaurant." They hang up and Lynn walks back to her table.

"So what did you and Pablo talk about?" Her friends ask at the same time.

"He said that he wanted to do something special for me tonight." She lied.

"That's great. That means you guys are getting serious." Angelina says with a wink.

"Yea."Lynn says as their drinks came.

25 minutes later after their food came, Deanna came into the restaurant. Looking like she has been crying for while and worried for her safety. People start whispering as soon as they saw her.

"What's that white trash doing here?" Someone says as Deanna walked passed them.

"Hey look at that white girl." Kedrick says pointing to her.

"Looks like she is coming our way, I wonder why." Angelina said.

"Because she's with me."Lynn says and stands up to greet Deanna.

"Hey." She says with a warm smile.

"Hey, um this place is scary." Deanna says with scared eyes.

"It's okay you're with me and don't look at anybody in the eyes." Lynn says as she pulls her to her side and got her to sit next to her.

"Hi, I'm Deanna Winchester. It's nice to meet you." She says and sticks her hand out to shake Lynn's friend's hands. They just look at her and she drops her hand knowing she is not welcome.

"Be nice Kedrick and Angelina, she's my friend."

"Sorry." They say and smile weakly at Deanna.

"Like I said yesterday, I'm really sorry about your brother and I would love to go to his funeral, if you don't mind."

"No I don't mind at all. I would love for you to come."Lynn says and puts a comforting hand on Deanna's hand.

"Thanks." Lynn, Kedrick and Angelina continue eating their food. Their waiter came by and asked if he could get anything for Deanna. She says just an enchilada with rice on the side.

Lynn's friends asked about Deanna and how she and Lynn became friends and just some small talk while they eat their lunch.

"That was a great lunch." Deanna said as she, Lynn, Kedrick and Angelina walk to their cars.

"Yea it was nice to get to know you. You're not bad for a white girl." Kedrick said with a smile. Angelina nods her head, agreeing with him.

"Ha, thanks I guess. It's goodbye then." Deanna says and starts getting in her car.

"Guys I'm going to hang with her for a bit if you don't mind."Lynn says to her best friends. They smile and wave her off to go.

"See ya guys." She says and ran to Deanna before she drives off.
