I looked over in Roses direction. I looked back at Qulil and once we made eye contact he got the message.
We darted over to Rose who looked very hopeful.
She looked like Ash... She made that face that Ash made whenever he...looked at me.
My heart skipped a beat when I was reminded that Ash likes me too. And just the thought of Ash calmed me down. I relaxed a little thinking of him.
"You guys are idiots!" She shouted at us, "Valen, you should have hid and waited for him to open the door! Then you could've ran for it! Get your pack to come save us!"
I was angered by the fact that she interrupted my thought of Ash. So angry that I just blurted, "Don't have one remember!"
She looked at me and her face filled with regret.
She looked over at Qulil and back to me.
"Did you try up there?" She said, "I saw him moving around a box, big one actually, and it seemed filled with metal."
I shot a look up where she pointed her head at. I saw what looked like a box. A rather big one too. It had to be it.
"I'll find a way up there." Qulil said in his casual Qulil voice. All old and strong sounding.
"See if you can find anything down here we can jam the door open." He told me.
"But we don't even know what's in the box. Could be a lot of useless junk." I argued.
"Doesn't matter anything is better then nothing in this situation." Qulil ordered.
"And do you really want to wait for the next human to come in and help us?" Rose jumped in, "We could only have seconds until one of them starts to wonder what is taking it so long."
As much as I didn't like it she had a point. I swept the ground and asked others if they knew.
Most of them gave me a very angry and blood thirsty look. Not gonna say I'm surprised. We were all territorial, especially with other wolfs. But as much as they didn't want too some tried to help in desperation of freedom.
"Move for me will you," a voice called from above.
I moved aside expecting something small. Didn't know what I was expecting really.
But instead the box that Qulil went for fell with a large bang. The whole room shook and I leaped with a shriek.
Qulil came up from behind me and said, "Those are it...they use they use them to hunt us?"
I nodded my head nervously.
"This box is full of them!"
