"Who's your alpha exactly?" Qulil asked concerned.
And the thought that he was concerned made me question. Why was he concerned at all? Shouldn't he be exited?
Or at least relieved that we might be getting rescued.
"She's not here but... she's here." She sniffed again. "She's very distant, I can barley smell her. As if she's far."
Qulil fully stood up and he shoved me over to get to her. I was kinda scared. I thought that he might be getting impatient.
"Is she here or not?!" He asked raising his voice, "you should know her scent."
She looked at him, almost plain of emotion. She looked down and back up to him.
"She's not here but she's near by." She finally said.
Qulil stood back and made his way back to his corner.
Almost instantly he fell back asleep.

Rose was still sniffing the air. The sun was about to rise. You could see the specks of light in the sky. Unfortunately we were set near a window. Not a big one but big enough to see out of clearly.
"Come on!" Rose barked, "I know you're there!"
I guess at that point I could see why the Human said, "Let them kill each other." I was annoyed by Rose and was tempted to shut her up. It's actually not the first time but I'm always stopped by the thought of what Ash would think about me if I did.
"Can you please just shut up." I growled at her.
She looked down at me with an angry glare.
"Don't you wanna get out?" She asked, "this could be our chance."
I looked around to see that it was already a solid day. I peeked up and saw green. And to my horror I could easily see...winter was leaving us...

Rose was still yapping about how we could get out and how we could be rescued.
But whenever me and Qulil exchange glances we would also exchange the look that says, "They're not coming,"
And the last time we did that the doors swung open. And I saw the Human holding something behind his back.
He glanced at us, then he opened the cage next to ours.
To my horror he shoved in another wolf in there. This wolf put up a good fight but she was easily out matched.
He looked at us and grumbled, "Should've put her in with them."
Then he walked off.
All three of us studied this wolf. At this point I could smell her from a mile away. The scent was familiar. I could recognize it immediately. But I just couldn't find it.
Then she lifted her head. Our eyes locked and my heart sank.
"You." She said.
"Ophy." I whispered to myself.
