I looked at him nervously. He seemed to understand what I had been through. I've been shot at and almost killed with those things. Wind could've been too, if it weren't for just pure luck we would've been killed right then and there.
"Look," he said, "If we don't get out of here we'll all end up dead."
I didn't even realize my tale slopping like a dead rabbit. But deep down I knew he was right.
We only had one chance. We need to make it count.
"Do you even know how to make it throw out the bullets?" I asked inspecting the box.
"I think so," he answered.
He ripped open the box and with his jaw he picked up one of the... Whatever they're called.
His teeth slipped into the handle. And he froze dead. Almost like he was in danger. Almost like he was gonna run. Fear scorching his eyes and his breathing slowed almost to nothing.
The weapon slipped and his tooth pushed up what seemed to be a lever and with a single click the weapon went off with a bang.
All the dogs barked and the bullet speeded to Rose. She ducked preparing for the impact and it hit the lock and the cage door slowly slid open with a rusty creek.
