Chapter 3

Kinkfur woke up to Tigerstripe's voice "Kinkfur, i have a thorn in my pad." she went to the main part of her den and saw Tigerstripe standing on three legs with one paw raised into the air. " let me see," Kinkfur said. He extended his leg so that she could see the thorn driven deep into the pad. " i need to pull it out stay still this might hurt a bit." then she gently put her jaws around the thorn and pulled. "hey" Tigerstripe yowled in pain. thick globs of blood pooled out of his paw. Kinkfur went to her herb store and got marigold and cobwebs. she chewed the marigold to a pulp and drizzled the juices onto his wound. he winced in pain. then she put cobwebs on it. "now go rest, stay off your paws, and don't mess up the dressing." "OK" Tigerstripe replied. after he left, Kinkfur organized her herbs while reciting remedies under her breath. "OK, marigold for infection, burdock root for rat bites, cobwebs to stop bleeding, and borage for fever and to help queens get milk." after she finished she laid in her nest and sank into sleep.

"Shadowclan Attack" Bramblekit opened her eyes filled with sleep to the yowl to find the nursery in chaos. "all kits hide in the nests" Cherrywhisker said urgently. Stormkit, Redkit, Sparklekit, and Turtlekit ran obediently ran to the nest, but Bramblekit ran to the nursery entrance to watch the attack. as she peered into the clearing she saw Cherrywhisker clawing at a white tom. she clawed his flank and he yowled in pain then sank his teeth into her leg. she drew back then wrapped his tail in her teeth and bit down as hard as she could. he ran yowling out the entrance. Bramblekit then saw two she-cats bury her underneath them and went to help her mother. "Cherrywhisker i'm coming""no Bramblekit go back to the nursery" but instead she clamped her teeth over ones tail. she screeched in pain in pain then raked her claws across Bramblekit's muzzle. "ow" Bramblekit squealed in pain. "DON'T TOUCH MY KIT" Cherrywhisker roared. then she scratched the she-cats belly and sent her reeling out of camp. "Shadowclan retreat," Rowanstar called.as every cat left filed out the entrance Thunderclan cats hissed and growled at them. after they left, an unmoving body caught Bramblekits eye. "S-Stormcloud" she stammered. " Kinkfur, come quick, its Stormcloud" Cherrywhisker choked out. Kinkfur ran to Stormcloud and called out, " im sorry, hes dead." "N-No" Cherrywhisker sank to the ground in defeat. Stormclouds normally fluffy gray pelt was now splattered in blood. There was a long scratch across his neck. Stormkit, Bramblekit, Redkit, and Sparklekit scampered across the clearing and cried out "No, Stormcloud." Amberstar came up and said "im sorry, kits" Bramblekit scrambled away from the group and went to her mother "Cherrywhisker?" she asked questionably. " kits come here" Cherrywhisker said. when they came Cherrywhisker curled her body around them and said "kits im sorry but you wont be able to see him again, you wont be able to hear him or feel his fur ever again." she choked out" but you will always love him and he will be in your hearts forever" as she said this she curled around her kits and thought Shadowclan will pay darkly.

Wow guys this was a really long one. i will try to make more chapters like this and update as soon as a can but i am not sure how fast that will be. anyway comment follow and review bye will update once more today hopefully.
