Josh's POV
As I was driving I started thinking. She's the one! I love her! My cheeks glowed bright red as I realised I loved this girl. We've only been together for what 3 months and known each other for a year or so. This is crazy. How could I fall in love with somebody so fast. I couldn't let her get away. I have never felt this way about anyone before.
I glanced over at her and she was bopping up and down in her seat with excitement. Everything was in slow-motion. Her blinking, her giggling and her hair flying around. All I could do was smile.
"I can't wait to see Jenna again." She finally squeaked.
"So I see you and Jenna have become friends."
"Yeah I love Jenna so much. We have been non-stop texting each other. I haven't had a friend like this since Da-" she stopped abruptly and looked down at her hands.
"Hey, Hey it's okay. You're Okay munchkin." Her sister always calls her that when she's upset; I thought it would help. She looked up and smiled, her gaze thick with emotion and love. She grabbed my hand and pulled it up to her mouth then kissed it lightly.
Andi's POV
"Yeah I love Jenna so much. We have been non-stop texting each other. I haven't had a friend like this since Da-" I realised what I was saying and stopped myself abruptly. The memories flooded back into my mind.
So much blood. Why was there so much blood?
I look down at my hands to try hide the fact I was starting to cry.
"Hey, Hey it's okay. You're Okay munchkin." He whispered. My heart fluttered lightly. It doesn't affect me when my sister calls me munchkin but when Josh says it, I don't know it just feels more loving or I guess meaningful. I love that he took note of the fact my sister calls me that to cheer me up. I looked up and smiled at him. I grabbed his hand and pulled it up to my lips and gently kissed it.
I love him so much.
Wait what? Did I seriously just - I love Josh.
"Come on Andi." I heard him say. I must have been daydreaming because Josh had already loaded all of our stuff onto the bus.
Jenna and Tyler were waiting for us as we got on.
"Andi!" Jenna squealed and jumped up at me.
"Jenna!" I squealed back jumping higher.
"I've missed you so much."
"Yeah she hasn't stopped talking about you." Tyler chimed in rolling his eyes.
"Love you two Tyler." I laughed. We all sat down and the bus started.
This is going to be the best 8 months ever!
