Chapter 27

Josh's POV

"You promised you wouldn't let anything happen to her!" Tatum screamed, tears rolled down her burning cheeks as she pushed me hard into the wall.
"I'm sorry. There was nothing I could do." I whispered. I felt like such a coward. My words wouldn't come out and whatever words that did find a way out were just whispers.
"There was everything you could do! You could have done anything and all of this would have been better!" She yelled pushing me harder.
"Please Tatum, I wish I could've done something but I did everything I could." I felt even more of a coward because I was crying hard.
"Tatum stop!" Andi yelled as she came into the hotel room.
"I don't want you around him Andi." Tatum simply stated.
"What!?" Andi and I yelled in unison.
"He is clearly making you worse. He isn't good for your mental health. This could have been easily prevented and it wasn't because of him." My heart broke into a million pieces.
"No." Andi said bluntly.
"Excuse me?"
"I'm nearly 25 years old Tatum. You're not my mum I can think for myself. He isn't making me worse!"
"Since you've known this guy you've been raped, had 2 nightmares, been sexually assaulted and ended up in a fucking hospital!"
"All of that is bottled up emotion! I finally have someone to talk too who won't tell me 'I'm thinking too much' or 'dwelling too much on the past' sorry not all of us can get over the death of their brother and both parents in a week, get married and have a kid!"
"Don't bring my family into it Andi, don't you dare."
"They're my family too!"
"They never fucking cared about you! You were always such a disappointment. Little miss my best friend killed herself so I'm not going to do anything with my life!"
"Get the fuck out Tatum! Get out!" Andi screamed. I was so shocked that Tatum brought Darcy, James and their parents into it - I was frozen.
As soon as Tatum left, Andi broke down in tears. I walked towards her and sat with her on the floor as she cried into my chest.
"She probably didn't mean it pebble, she's just angry and most of all worried about you." I sighed.
"I love her so much but she is too much sometimes. She controls me then uses my health against me." She sobbed.
"I know and it's not my place to say but that's wrong no matter who you are. I'm always here for you but you and your sister will make up soon I promise." I smoothed down her hair and kissed the top of her head.
"Thank you bubble." A small smile appeared on her face.

Andi's POV

Jenna and I sat at the table waiting for the boys to come back with our drinks. My thighs still stung a lot but I was charging through the pain - it's not like I've never felt it before.
"Are you okay honey?" Jenna asked placing her hand on mine.
"Yeah, a lot better today - apart from the argument with Tatum."
"Yeah that sucks but everything will turn out okay." Jenna smiled then rubbed the top of my hand with her thumb.
"Drinks!" Tyler cheered. Jenna got a Malibu and coke the same as me, Josh got a Budweiser and so did Tyler.
"Cheers." I smiled. We all really needed this drink. It wasn't like a night out kind of thing it was more like a 'sit down in a bar have a few drinks and chat, maybe even get some chips to share' kind of thing. I looked at Jenna and Tyler; they were so in love. I looked at Josh; he was so infatuated with me. He scanned my face every time I moved always ending up lost in my eyes.
"I love you." I whispered kissing the tips of his fingers.
"I love you too." He smiled the kissed my knuckles.
I seriously hope I'm all good for the guys show tomorrow. Jenna and I are doing this bit where we go on stage in these little outfits and dance around our boys - I was so nervous because of the fresh scars on my thighs.
"Calm down babe." Josh whispered.
"Huh?"
"It's okay, I'm here." He smiled. I smiled back then went back to my drink.
I don't want to ruin tomorrow.
