Emily's diary: It's finally Tuesday November first, I've been in school for 3 months now. Yesterday was Halloween and I had a great time, I went as Jack Torrance from The Shining. Not many people know or like the movie like I do. I've had an amazing time at school with Oliver and I've made a few more friends, but something feels really off.
I've noticed that the kid named Roger who sits in the first seat in the last row in my Language arts class is constantly staring at me. It's a very strange and almost ghostly stare, like a wolf stalking it's prey. Whenever I walk with Oliver through the halls, he creepily follows and watches my every move. I feel like at any moment, he could pounce at me and it would all be over then and there. This has been going on since mid October. I wish it would stop, it's really starting to chill me to the bone. Maybe I could try communicating with him and ask him to stop. I'm going to talk to him tomorrow.
Emily woke up at 6am to preform her daily routine. Her mother no longer drives her to school for she now rides the bus. She walked to her bus stop and there was Roger, watching Emily from afar. She approached him in question of what he was doing.
"Hey Roger." said Emily, "I have to ask you something."
"Alrighty." Roger replied with a disturbing smile on his face.
"I've been noticing you staring at me during school and following me around the halls. Why are you doing this?" she asked worriedly.
"Ah...You see, I cant help but look at your pretty little face and the way you move your perfect body. You infatuate me." Roger replied with a slight blush.
"You disgust me." she said in a disturbed tone.
"Don't talk me that way my little princess."
"I'm not your princess!" she screamed.
"Yes you are, my beautiful rose."
"No I'm not! Get away from me!" she tried to run.
"You little! Get over here!" he screamed in anger.
Roger slapped Emily in her face and she fell to the ground. She got up, grabbed her bag, and ran to the bus as fast as possible while tears ran down her face. She had a red mark on the right side of her face, she put her hand over it and groaned in pain as she walked to her seat. She sat with Oliver and she started to cry into his shoulder.
"Emily, what's the matter?" Oliver asked worriedly.
"Roger was telling me that he was infatuated with me. I refused his affection and he slapped me really hard in the face and I fell to the ground." Emily cried.
"That bastard! Nobody messes with my best friend! Don't let him bother you, okay? I'll be here for you at any time." he said with a smile.
Oliver hugged onto Emily and wiped her tears away. She hugged him back and thanked him for the support. For the next two weeks, Oliver walked Emily to the bus stop and home after school. Emily had ignored Roger for those two weeks as well. She hasn't had any problems, until...
