Kasey's Point Of View
As I walked into the very clean house, the sun coming through the windows blinded me. I squinted as I made my way to the stairs and up them.
These stairs aren't steep. They are normal. I guess that's a good thing.
This entire house is normal. Our old house was, well old, but it had so many small differences, like the steepness of the steps, or the chips of paint in the walls.
And there was always the hole that I accidentally knocked into the wall with a softball when I was 7.
I looked around the short hallway upstairs, and looked at a room that had a paper on the door that read "Kasey".
Guess that's my room.
I walked into the room to see a normal sized bedroom with large windows on one side of it.
I don't have my own personal bathroom or balcony. I personally don't think I need them.
I take 15 minutes to get ready in the mornings because I shower at night.
I slipped my backpack off of my shoulders and onto my bed, which was already set out and made for me.
All of my furniture was in the room, but my clothes and all of that stuff wasn't.
I loved the way it was set up. My room has a very light lavender shade of walls, with white trim and small white patterns drawn across the walls in various places.
Four hours later
It was 7:48 pm. I had already unpacked everything and had gotten used to my new room.
We already ate dinner, which consisted of Chinese takeout.
My dad says I should shower and get ready for bed because it's been a long day and I have school tomorrow. He's actually being nice for once.
Maybe this move to Kansas will change some things.
I ripped off my comfortable clothes, immediately feeling the cool air against my warm body, goosebumps erupting throughout my somewhat pale skin.
I stepped into the shower, feeling the warm droplets start to warm me up slowly. I relax as I mix the shampoo into my auburn strands, and soak my body with soapy water.
After my shower, I towel dry my hair, and throw on a pair of comfy sweats and a Twenty One Pilots t-shirt.
The next morning
I awoke to loud, obnoxious screaming in my ear.
"What the HELL?!" I yell. I open my eyes to see my little sister. "Autumn! You're so damn annoying!" I scream.
She laughs as she walks out of my room saying, "It's time to wake up and get ready."
I press the home button on my phone and see that it's 7:00 am. We have to leave at 7:30.
I slowly get up, and throw on a pair of black skinny jeans and my white TRXYE sweater with black writing.
I slip on my black vans, with white socks, and throw my hair in a high ponytail.
I swiftly brush some mascara onto my lashes and 'Peach Kiss' BabyLips on my plump lips.
I stuff my phone into my cute Aeropostale backpack and walk out the door, checking the time. It's 7:26.
I walk into the kitchen to see my sister at the counter, with her backpack and a granola bar in hand.
"Dad already went to work." She said.
I nodded. "Come on. We don't want to be late." I say, gesturing towards the front door as I start to walk to it.
She follows close behind as we walk out, lock the door, and walk down our small driveway.
We walked up just as the bus came to our house, and stepped on.
We have a bus that goes to each house, and not only bus stops.
I sit down in a seat next to my sister, and we start to ride off.
At the school
The middle school and high school are in the same campus, so in case anything happens to Autumn, I'm right here.
I walk into my homeroom with my backpack slung across my back. I sit down in an empty seat next to this really pretty girl.
As the teacher, Mrs. Monroe, was looking through the attendance list, the girl next to me leans in and whispers, "Hey. I'm Taylor. You're new here?"
"Yeah." I whisper back.
She nods, smiling. "Nice to meet you. What grade are you in? I'm in 9th." She says.
"I'm in 11th." I reply.
"Oh cool! I have a brother who is in 11th as well." She tells me, still smiling. She seems really nice.
"Oh, I forgot to say, nice to meet you too." I smile. Her smile gets even bigger, if that's even possible.
She nods and turns her attention back to the teacher, who is still calling attendance.
This year will be interesting.

A/N: I hope you enjoyed the first chapter! I know I know, no tanner! He will be in the next chapter. I had a total brain fart and forgot what grade Tanner is in, because he barely talks about it, and yes I know, he's in online school now, but I just wrote 11th.
Hope you liked! Don't forget to add it to your library if you didn't! Also, if you want to, you can give me some feedback in the comments!
If you want, you can vote too!
