Chap 12: Nowhere to hide

Jenny's P.O.V

He can't ask me this now! We're in the middle of a Ustream, and we just fought! I know I should be happy, and I want to be but I can't help but let the anger take over me.

He hasn't even explained the situation with Maddy, it doesn't make sense, he knows the answer is a no until we work things out.

I look at his evil smirk and squinch my eyebrows in confusion.

He thinks I won't say no because we're in the middle of a Ustream, well he can forget that.

"No." I say with a little smirk and watch his shocked eyes widen.

I expect him to laugh embarrassed, although he stands up and leaves the room slamming the door behind him.

What did I do?

Dalton's P.O.V

Storming into the master bedroom I yell in despair, I've had enough. There has been too much arguing today, all I wanted to do was fix everything by seeing a smile on Jenny's face, but I guess being with me isn't enough to recieve one.

I hear repeated knocks on the door from outside the room.

"Dalton? Can I come in? Please."

Jenny's gentle voice pleads.

When I don't answer Jenny turns the knob on the door entering the room.

I lie on the bed and rest my eyes, still tired from the sleepless nights.

Jenny does the same and sighs exhausted.

"No? You won't be my girlfriend?" I ask braking the calm silence.

"Ofcourse I want to be, but I can't, not yet."

I wait silently expecting her to continue.

"What about Maddy?"

"Maddy's gone now, she won't come back." I reply hesitantly knowing that wasn't the answer she wanted.

"But you want her to come back, right?" Jenny says clearing the question.

"I... miss her." I answer honestly, why does she always know exactly what to say and leave me studdering.

"So why did you ask me out?" Replies Jenny without a sign of hesitation.

"Because I love you! I want you to be mine Jenny! Maddy and I are over, I miss but I don't care about her, it's time for me to move on."

She does nothing but sit up, lean over and kiss me passionately, making it hard to pull away.

Jenny grabs my hand as we walk back into Gabe's room. The Ustream is still going and I guess they are expecting me to explain my absence.

"Sorry. Jenny and I aren't dating." Is the only explanation I give.

"What are you talking about? Ofcourse we are." Says Jenny smiling as she gives me a meaningful kiss.

I read comments from the computer, laughing at the ones that say they think what happened last night was cool and they thought my punch was rad. Frowning at the few that are rude comments about Jenny.

Jenny notices my frown and attempts to read the comments, although I sit infront of the screen blocking her view not wanting to see her upset.

"Let me see Dalton!" She says worried and shoves me out of the way.
