Chap 17: You Know It

"Oh my freaking god."

The hall is massive for one, and the reason I know that is because there is no in besides me and Cole.

"Cole?"

Or maybe just me.

One of the four huge walls is just plain bright red and infront of it is a camera, I think.

Another wall has painted white music notes on a black wall and there is a DJ stand in the middle of it, with a literally glowing dance floor infront of it.

The third wall is a darker red than the first and pushed against it is a massive table with all my favourite foods. Ben and Jerry's, sushi, pringles etc.

The last, my favourtie is a massive collage of all my childhood and recent photos.

When I walk over to look at the photos, Gabe appears from the back door joining me to browse the photos.

He looks so freaking handsome. He is wearing a shirt, tie and blazer with black dressy pants.

Gabe puts his arm around my waist so we face the photos.

"You look beautiful." He whispers, I don't know why no one is in here besides us two.

At one end of the wall has photos starting from when I was a baby and the other end are photos of mainly Gabe and I. Bringing back the memorys of when we first met, I only notice I was crying when Gabe wipes away the moisture on my cheeks.

After attempts to ask many questions about all the decorations I give up when he doesnt answer.

"Sorry, the girls have everything planned. If I spoil something they'll kill me." Gabe says kissing me before I can speak.

Holy shit where did that guy come from? I jump back when I see a man with black hair standing over the DJ stand.

"Um Gabe..." I point to the guy and he laughs at my clueless face.

Taking my hand he leads me to the glowing tiles and calm music is played.

We dance perfectly, our bodies close against eachothers, my head resting on his shoulder and we sway in tune with the music. This is the best birthday and I wouldn't want to spend it with anyone else.

"So so you like it?!" Janet asks running through back door, the other girls and guys following behind.

Gabe and I hastily brake apart.

"Yes! This is the best party ever!" I am surprised when I am responded with echoing laughs.

"Honey, I was asking if you like the place. The party has not even started yet!" Janet says.

Oh.

"But don't worry, it's just going to be us."

I sigh in relief, I really don't want to be trampled by a stampede of party animals.

"First off, dinner." Will says with a massive grin.

We run over to the table and pig out on icecream and maybe a beer ot two...

"How did you get all the photos? It is amazing."

"We went to your parents and everyone you knew... Speaking of photos, to the photo booth!" Katie says excitedly.

The alcohol seems to have a more immediate affect on me than everyone else because I had just realised I was skipping across the room to the red wall.

"Say cheese!"

The hundredth photo has been taken before we head to the dance floor and dance our hearts out to IM5 music.
