- Five minutes to midnight and you're now listening to "Behind medecine" at Radio Science. We are very used to meet people that, for any reason, once decided to make themselves a relaunch therapy. Now it's something normal but for many years this process was involved with lots of myths and urban legends. There were even organized groups that push very hard for the relaunch therapies to stop, but now it has the recognition of the International Medical Bureau and we wanted to have here, tonight, in Behind the Meds, Mr. Magnus Thornhope. Good night Mr. Thornhope. Do you have the same perception that the society evolved with the relaunch process and become more tolerant to intrusive psychology? Or you have the feeling that there is still a long way to walk on that field?
- Good night. A pleasure. At our first beginning, the relaunch process was not as mature as it is now. It was a good therapy, but like all other conventional therapies it has some minor issues. It took us almost one year to find how to deal with the "ghost emotions".
- That part, you may explain us more later, but just to tell our audience, these "ghost emotions" are areas of the brain that hold an emotion and they are inactive for a period of time and they suddenly appear without any apparently reason, isn't it?
- Well, as a summary, yes. This is it, but nothing happens without a reason. We studied the brain activity after a relaunch and we found out that some areas without synaptic activity they suddenly explode with what we call an orphan dynamic. Let's use an example: someone had a car crash. All the facts and images, the sounds, the voices, they are all stored in the brain as in a data disk. You can locate for a date and a moment all what happened and just remove it the same as the brain does sometimes with very traumatically facts. We studied cases of child abuse or kidnapping where people has no memories for entire days. The brain just deleted them automatically. But this example: the car crash. This person became afraid to get into a car. Same like people having phobias to spiders or darkness. They don't know, or they just forgot why, this fear is there. Of course it is a self defense mechanism, but if you understand the source of it or, in other words, you could reach the memories, probably you would reeducate your fear and feel that it's not useful anymore. You are afraid of dogs because one dog bit you when you were child. You are afraid of swimming because you felt once the risk of drowning. If you remember you can understand, if these memories are deleted permanently, these emotions are orphan.
- So, what's the risk now to have a "ghost emotion" like you mention by the improved relaunch procedure? How you made it to find and remove emotions or brain activity that doesn't exist yet, but it's related to the memories you are about to delete?
- Now the risk of having "ghost emotions" is almost zero. The thing is that ensuring these emotions are totally purged it means a totally different way of acting, a different way of think. Back to the traumatic examples: someone is afraid of dogs because this traumatic experience with a dog. It's not only to remove this particular traumatic experience, but removing all times this person faced a dog and was afraid of it. That's the source of the "ghost emotions" or the paradigm of chained events. So, you also remove or change all the events related to dogs. Yes, it sounds kind of devastating, but this activity it's all located in the same brain zone! So, that deleted event expands a new neuronal path of ways this person interacts with animals. It can be that after a relaunch this person becomes an activist for the animal's rights, and this may look kind of brainwashing.
- But how became someone afraid to dogs an animal's activist?
- Yes, it's a long way, but also natural! What would happen if this person had never ever in his entire life any kind of fear to dogs? We see this from the past experience of the subject, but this person doesn't have this sense of "before I was afraid of dogs and now I am not". It's we, the others, that see the before and after. For the subject this fear just never existed and when they are back to their lives they just act in the most natural way they feel. This subject, for example, always loved animals with passion and devotion. It's just like waking up and knowing what you want to do in your life.
- Without any fear. That sounds kind of disturbing if we imagine a society where nobody has any fear or anything, or nobody has any traumas in their life.
- Of course, that would be a really boring and imperfect perfect society, don't you think? I think nobody wants that. This subject, about the panic of dogs, he had a normal life with also another fears or other traumas. Relatives can pass away, some moments in their life can be risky and they can feel scared, stressed, sad, bored, ... they can also need to find out what is their propose in life. They are just human as they were, but without the panic that froze them.
- You talk about this as if it was just the same as a conventional psychological therapy.
- If you compare the brain activity of a relaunched people and someone that has been going to therapy and completed it, they are much similar. The only difference is the time spent. A relaunch can take in order to one week and some conventional therapies may take years.
- Please, excuse me for the comparison, but for example by loosing weigh many people agree that the best way to loose weigh in the most healthy and definitive way is to take your time, change your eating habits, do some sport, and so. Things take time, and magical diets that make you loose weight fast they sometimes come with a reboot effect that makes you to recover the lost weight or even get a bit more. Don't you think things are much better slowly cooked?
- I tried myself the slow path, believe me. I use to go to psychologist often because it's like going to the gym to train the muscles, but you train the brain. One thing doesn't exclude the other path. You can go to an esthetic clinic to remove fat from your body in a surgery procedure, and improve your body shape going to the gym, care your diet, and so. Someone may have a relaunch and continue going to the psychologist for all other things in life that need our mind to work healthy and strong.
- But, how can you compare results the adjustment required of months or years after a therapy, or a weight loss treatment, with a relaunch process that takes around one week.
- It's all about intensity. This week after the relaunch process involves an intensive deploy of personality, emotions and attitudes that enforce the behavior of the patient for the new life without traumas. It is really intense, believe me. Once the adjustment part is completed, the subject can start living with a new and more real sense of oneself. The perception of the treatment is like being on surgery. You get sleep and you wake up after a healing sleep with your mind bright and clear.
- One last question, Mr. Thornhope. Many people is concerned about the confidentiality agreement and the clauses that forbid the revealing of secret. The process itself is also secret and only certain authorities know them in detail. Also, all information about past life before relaunch remains in one of the most secure places in earth: your data bank. Why is New Life and the relaunch clinic histories so hermetic?
- Well, you can easily figure it out. If you were revealed you had panic for dogs, it wouldn't probably cause any effect in your new life, but if you knew you were sexually abused when being a child, it for sure would affect you and the way you will live after that. You will need the missing memories and your emotions would be so incomplete. If something like that would ever happen, we shall just have to revert the relaunch and leave all memories and emotions like they were. This person then would have lived some years with happiness as a result of ignorance, but now it will be time to walk the slow path and face this traumas with other ways.
- It sounds sad.
- Yes. Sad, hard and very painful. But, as I mention, this situation has never happened before, and by securing all our data banks and procedures we ensure this will never happen.
- This is how New Life and this relaunch procedure has become a huge revolution in the way we live and we understand psychology and brain workout. Thank you Mr. Thornhope for your time at Radio Science with us in "Behind medecine".
- Thanks to you. A pleasure.
A relaxing soundtrack plays on the air when the New Life radio spot whispers that memories can be rewritten with the help of the best team in psycho medics, in what will be a new start for your new own life.
