*the next morning*
[Y/N]'s P.O.V

If I said that yesterday was a huge success and that we've made progress, I'd be lying. Yesterday went horribly, Saeran ended up locking himself in the porta potty and smoking almost two packs of cigarettes before Zen was able to get him to come out. How he acted was almost comical. He was stressed out that he couldn't stop thinking about smoking so he tried sneaking in a smoke, but then he got even more stressed when he knew that I knew he was smoking and then it got worse when Zen came back and told him to come out.

I was walking to Seven's apartment again, this time with a new toaster because Seven dropped a metal fork inside it and is scared to take it out. As I passed by I saw Saeran smoking again. I frowned and walked up to him.

"[Y/N]!" Saeran said, he quickly dropped the cigarette and crushed it underneath his foot.

"So you're not trying anymore,huh?" I asked.

He sighed and ran his fingers through his hair.

"It's way harder than I thought... I quit quitting." He said, a disappointed look on his face.

"I don't even know why I thought I could do this in the first place." He said, pulling out another cigarette and putting it in his mouth as he was about to light it, I placed my hand over his and lowered it.

His eyes were wide with confusion.

"Wha-"

"You can do it, Saeran... I believe in you." I replied.

He looked like he was at a loss for words.

"Why do you believe in me? You're just wasting your time." He said.

"Why do you even want me to stop? My health isn't affecting anyone." He added.

I bit my lower lip and took in a deep breathe.

Okay... here goes nothing...

"I want you to stop because I really like you... not as just a friend or Seven's brother... I want you to stop because I care about you... I don't want you to get sick." I replied, looking him directly in his shiny green-blue eyes.

"So if you're not gonna quit for yourself, then do it for the people around you." I added, looking down again.

Saeran's P.O.V

She likes me?

I was at a loss for words, my mouth hung open and the cigarette fell out of my mouth.

She cares for me?

I knew that I should say something but I had no idea what to say or do. I've never been in this situation before. I'm usually left alone as long as I do my work. At Mint Eye, ironically no one cares about your health.

"Well this is awkward..." She said, letting go of my hand.

I couldn't react all I could do was stare at her.

"I'm going to leave-"

As she turned to leave I held onto her hand again, my whole face burned for some reason.

"Don't." I said almost in a whisper.

She raised her eyebrow at me.

"Look... I'm just not used to someone really caring about my health or even about me as a person." I said, looking down.

"I've been smoking since I was in high school so I don't know if I can drop it right away..." I began.

"But I can try dropping the smoking down to one pack a day, then to half a pack, and then eventually up to one cigarette a day... If you'll help me." I finished.

She opened her mouth to speak and I winced on instinct, expecting her to yell at me. But she didn't.

"Alright, I guess I was being too pushy and not considering how a person needs to transition." She said with a small chuckle.

I smiled a little.

"Thank you for helping me." I said.

"Thank you for letting me." She replied.

I sat on the couch with Seven playing Super Smash Bros... currently getting my ass kicked.

"How did you win?!?! I know all the combos?!" I demanded.

"Ya but your combos are no match for my button mashing!!!! Muahahahahahahahaha!!!" He mocked.

I punched him on the shoulder causing him to hold his arm on pain.

"Meanie!" He said.

I rolled my eyes. Then I heard the sound of locks clicking and someone speaking in Arabic. I smiled and walked up to the door. The door opened revealing Saeran. I was immediately on him.

"You're home!" I chirped.

I could feel him smile as he hugged me back. When then parted and I pecked him on the lips.

"[Y/N]! Guess what?" He asked, excitedly.

"What?" I asked.

"I didn't smoke one cigarette today~" He said in a sing-song voice.

I hugged him again.

"I'm so proud of you~!" I cheered.

"I am too!" Seven shouted from the living room.

Saeran rolled his eyes and looked back at me.

"I'm just thankful that you were there to help me go through with it." He admitted.

"Don't worry it's fine~! Plus you're me start to exercise and eat more healthy." I said.

"All I did was ask Saeyoung to slap junk food out of your hands." He said.

I giggled.

"Ya but it still works." I stated.

He chuckled a little bit and held me again.

"I'm so lucky that you're my girlfriend." He stated kissing my cheek.

I blushed.

"I'm lucky to have you as my boyfriend." I replied.

"I guess we're both pretty lucky." He said.

I nodded as we stayed in our embrace. He no longer smelt of smoke and his breathing had stopped worsening. I was just so happy that I was able to help... that he allowed me to help him. I guess he's finally gotten over his addiction of smoking... but now I have a Saeran addiction.
