The Hanahaki Disease is a (fictional) disease, often used in, where the victim regurgitates and coughs up flower petals when they suffer from unrequited love. The illness can only be cured through surgical removal, however any existing romantic feelings are also removed with the infection.

Why doesn't he love me back?

The (h/c) girl watched as the red head talked with the other girls. Laughing, playing, flirting. Maybe it was because the girl looked younger than the other girl's despite being the same age.

The boy's name was Saeran Choi. Y/n had met him through his older brother Saeyoung Choi. At first the girl had thought that he was mean and condescending... But then she got to know the boy that loved his older brother, video games and ice cream.

That was the boy that she fell in love with.

"Ha! Saeran wouldn't like a little girl like you! He deserves a woman!"

The girl coughed up one blue flower petal, they reminded her of the color of Saeran's eyes. This had been happening for a month now. Coughing up flower petals. The girl knew that it wasn't normal yet didn't know how to explain to the doctor that she was coughing up flower petals.

"That's right..." The girl whispered quietly, her chest hurt and it was hard for her to breath.

"Saeran does deserve a girl that looks like she's his age." She added, feeling something stuck in her throat.

"But I could at least try to tell him how I feel... He deserves that much..."

The girl walked up to the boy when he was alone, coughing up a couple more petals as she got closer.

"Ummm... Saeran?" The girl called out.

The boy turned around his blue eyes brighter than usual.

"What's up Y/n?" He asked.

"I-I have so-something t-to tell you." The girl stated beginning twiddling her thumbs.

"Ha. Why are you so nervous? You can tell me." He stated with a warm smile, a smile that he's only shown to her.

The girl's heart beat increased as her cheeks began to darken. The girl took a short breath and clenched her fists.

"Saeran I love y-"

"Hey~! I found you Saeran~!!!"

The girl was cut off as another girl suddenly pressed her chest against the boy's back, wrapping her arms around his chest. The boy blushed yet didn't move.

Why aren't you pushing her off?

"Oh... Who's this?" The girl asked eyeing Y/n.
