It's been a week and I haven't talked to Léah nor seen her around campus. Geneva said that she's had a lot going on, which I asked more about just because I'm a little nosy. She didn't spill any details as she promised Léah that she wouldn't. The whole situation with them was strange to me, but I guess I was glad that they were getting along.
"Babe, how does this look?"
I tilted my head up from my phone and fixed my glasses. I had gotten them earlier in the week when I went to my eye appointment, which Geneva forced me to go to after I had rescheduled for the second time because I just knew that I was going to be prescribed glasses. "Okay, wow..." my eyes grew big. "You're trying to get me excited aren't you?"
"I'm cute?" she posed.
"Really cute," I slipped my phone into my pocket then stood up and grabbed her hand, twirling her around once before pulling her body to mine. My hands glided down her sides and down to the small of her back, "Gonna wear this for our date tomorrow?"
She gently pressed her lips to mine before a giggle escaped them, "Maybe."
"Well you better wear that Victoria's Secret set too."
"Boy," she crinkled her nose and turned around, pointing to the gold zipper. "Please unzip me."
I did as asked and she shimmied off the dress, leaving herself in just a matching lace bralette and thong. "You need this," I handed over her shirt dress and shamelessly watched as she got redressed.
"You know that I bring you in here so you can catch glimpses of the goods," she smirked as she lifted her right foot next to me on the bench to fix the tie on her sandal.
"You mean to torture me?" I rose my eyebrows high and she couldn't hold back a laugh. "You're cruel, baby. I bet Itza doesn't do that to Carter."
"Yeah because her nasty ass is probably sitting on his dick instead of trying on her clothes," she shuttered while standing up straight. With the flick of her wrist, she tousled her hair in the mirror. It was parted down the middle into a low side ponytail.
I cringed at that image and rigorously shook my head to get it out of my mind. "Are you done?"
She tapped her chin with the tip of her baby blue gel covered nail and squinted at me, "I guess so..."
"Babe," I sighed. "If you want to continue shopping then go ahead, I really don't mind."
Her bottom lip poked out as she stepped closer to me, grabbing either side of my open jacket and pulling me to her this time, "I know you're bored, babe. You've been on your phone the whole time."
"I really don't mind watching you shop," I smiled because it was the complete truth. It was nice just seeing her do her thing. "I'm actually paying attention when you don't think I am," I added, not wanting to give away that I was taking mental notes of clothing, jewelry, and heels she seemed to like, but chose not to pick up.
