After Griffon's accident, I spent more time at home helping out which mean a lot my classes were online and I rarely saw the gang but we did keep in touch from time to time. A lot had happened when I was gone. I mean Ray got a girlfriend,everyone is getting ready to become seniors and as for me, I haven't been to school in a few months which I wasn't fussed about. I was still getting me good grades.
(Sunday Night )
I was sat on the sofa with Meg and Millie, we happened to be watching some strange youtube videos. I saw both my parents walk in and sit down with us. "Gavin we need to talk to you " I paused the video "Sure what's up " I smiled before looking at both of them but knowing me I'm in some sort of trouble " your going back to school tomorrow, your mum has made a good recovery and we are grateful for your help but you need to get your education " . I was happy to go back but I know it won't be easy but I looked over to Meg who was jumping for joy "oh my god yes Gavin " I laughed a little."
I had a thought "No telling anyone I'm back, I want to see if anyone picks up on it " I mean I have toned up a little since everyone last saw me. "Okay Gavin I won't tell a soul "she laughed and then she picked up her stuff before leaving as it was quite late at night.
I laid on my bed and looked at my phone. I saw that I had a message from the group chat which made me smile to see all the lads having a huge laugh, A message stuck out to me "So Ryan how's your new girlfriend?"I didn't want to know and I really didn't care, then I heard a knock at my door " come in " I said and my dad was at my door " Hey Dad what's up " I asked him he replied with a smile " Remeber that leather jacket you liked so much at the mall " I nodded as he handed me a box . "Open it " I opened it to find the leather jacket I wanted and that I was saving for.
I looked at my dad confused " Why?", I got up and hugged him " Becuase you are doing so good with school while taking care of your sister and mum, We are just so proud of you " I just hugged him tighter because I've never had someone tell me this before." I feel so overwhelmed right now " I let a tear slip from my eye. My dad Kissed my head before leaving and I called Meg on Facebook straight away so she could help me pick an outfit to match my new jacket.
"Meg help me pick something hot for tomorrow " she began to laugh " Sure thing Gavin and your beginning to sound like a girl " Which caused me to laugh too. We spent at least an hour with me trying on different outfits but we came to an understanding which was a white button up shirt with some black skinny jeans, this was paired with some brown oxfords which is funny topic because I'm from Oxfordshire.
I looked at her " What do you think " she was speechless for a few seconds " Wow Gavin ". I should get mum to give me a fresh trim as my hair has grown out " I walked out of my room with my laptop to see her on the sofa "can I ask a favour?" She looked at me " Mind giving me a fresh trim for tomorrow ?".She nodded and I walked to the kitchen with my laptop and she got the equipment, " So what do you want " I showed her a photo of a guy with a lot of hair on the top but short sides ( AKA the photo up top ).
She pulled it off and when she was done I went for a shower before saying goodbye to Meg who was talking to Griffon about something but I think Meg is worried about me coming back to school tomorrow.
We said our Goodbyes and I was sat up thinking for a little while, I was looking through my messages when I saw the group chat once again. I saw that Michael was confused that I looked at the chat because I haven't since my mum got hurt. "Gavin was on the chat, What the fuck, " Micheal said, "Gavin you there !!??" Ray was questioning. Jack's response was " Gavin Buddy, how you holding up?? we miss you " but there was nothing from Ryan like he didn't care at all.
I just turned off my phone and tried to get as much sleep as I could before waking up early for class tomorrow. Mum and dad have already let the school know I'm coming back but besides that no one knows, I slowly feel asleep after being left with my thought for a little while.
I woke up at 7:30 am as I now have the ability to drive, I borrow my mum's now and then. I asked her for the keys today. I styled my hair and got dressed before heading down straight with 15 minutes before I had to leave for school.I wanted to be early but not super early, I looked out of the window " Nice day Huh Millie?" she nodded while eating her breakfast.
I quickly grabbed a coffee before heading out the door with my shades on and my messenger bag on my shoulder.I looked good and felt good, I didn't want anything to stop me from feeling good today. I walked over to my mum's car before looking at my watch " it's 8:35 I should make there in good time ".

I got into the car and thinking about you by Hardwell was playing on the radio, I drove to school with a positive mind but theres a high chance people have forgotten me.
When I pulled up I could see people were looking at my car like what the fuck or that's a nice car.I grabbed my bag and earphones before getting out of my car, I had one earphone in and I could hear all the comments coming around such as "who's he ", " Is he New?" but I saw out of the corner of my eye the lads with Meg and Lindsay.I could see Meg smiling while the rest look confused and puzzled.
I walked Straight to the main office to receive my timetable again, as it has been a while since I was at this school. Once I left the office the bell rang but I had science first so I made my way there. i looked into the class to see Micheal, Lindsay, Ryan and Jack. I made my move and knocked in the door " Who is it " The teacher asked as I walked into the class " Hello, I'm Gavin Free " I removed my glasses " Sorry I've been away for the past couple of weeks, I've had some family issues ".
I looked around the class to see the guys in the back of the class, they all looked shocked. I handed the teacher a piece of paper before sitting down in the class at an empty seat in the back on the other side of the class to the boys.
This could be interesting, I thought to myself. The lesson went by smoothly no one really said a word to me but I know all the girls were looking at me which made me laugh a little. Yet From the corner of my eye, i could see it wasn't just the girls who were looking at me. James Ryan Haywood was staring right at me which caused me to let out a little smirk, that caused him to freak and look forward while blushing bright red. The bell rang for the end of the first class, I quickly grabbed my bag and notebook before heading out.
As I walked the hallway people were looking at me but I didn't care really, As I walked to my next class I saw Meg and she pulled me to one side " Wow you've become the eyes of the school today haha " I laughed and we then went our separate ways but me being me. I wasn't looking where I was going and I landed on top of someone ." Oh, im sorr...Oh hi Ryan " he laughed " You look good Gavin" I blushed a little but I stood up and helped him up " Gavin Bloody free " I felt myself being pulled into a hug " Hi Michael " I laughed. we all began to walk to our next class together but it felt good to be back with them.
