Chapter 3
(6 months later)
Rachels pov:
"I remember it , I remember the pain I felt that day. I remember feeling worthless, I remember it all." I said.
"Is that why you did what you did?" She asked me.
"Did what?" I asked my therapist.
"Jumped in the pool is that why you let yourself drown. Because you felt worthless?" She asked me.
"No , j jumped because I wanted it all to stop. I wanted to stop the pain." I said.
"And did it? Did you feel less pain?" She asked me.
"Yeah."I said.
"What about Finn? Have you talked to him since you woke up from the coma?" She asked.
"I told you he said he hated me." I told him.
"Sometimes we say things we don't mean." She said.
"No, I hurt him , I hurt him and now he's gone . He left and I can't do a thing about it, it's all my fault." I said.
(4 months ago )
I woke up in the hospital with a bunch of wires on me. I looked around wondering what the hell had happened and then I saw him sitting there praying.
"Fi..." I could barely say his name but he looked up.
"Oh my god!" He said happily and hugged me.
"It's okay I'm here baby, I'm here, let me get a doctor." He said and ran out.
Finn walked back in with the doctor.
"Ms.Berry, can you here me?" The doctor asked me.
I nodded slightly still weak.
"Do you remember what happened to you?" He asked me.
I nodded again .
"Okay lets get some x-rays going . Nurse get Rachel set up please. " He said and walked away.
(The next day)
I walked into my door with Finn. I walked in and Finn helped me over to the couch.
"Finn..." I said weak.
"It's okay Rach, you don't have to say anything." He told me.
"You should go." I said .
He looked at me and said,
"What?" He asked me.
"I don't want you here , please just go." I said.
He looked down and said,
"Are you fucking kidding me? Do you realize what you did to me Rachel ? I found you in a pool drowning . I jumped in and saved you and this is how you treat me!" He yelled angrily.
"Maybe I wanted to die! Maybe I didn't want you to save me!" I yelled.
"Really is that what you fucking want for me to leave?" He asked me.
"Yes please go!" I yelled.
"Fine I'll leave but Rachel this is it ! This is the last time you and I will ever be together and you know what if you keep pushing people away you will have no one left to be there. To save you." He said.
"I don't wanna be saved Finn I want you out of my life." I said.
"Fine , goodbye!" He said and stormed out.
