Chapter 31 ~ My worst nightmare

Jinxx's POV:

It's been awhile since the last time I checked on Tessa. I mean, I usually check on her once a day, but I haven't in a long time due to my broken leg and bed rest. Without realizing that I was thinking, I heard a knock on my door.
"Come in!" I yelled.
Tessa came through the door looking sick.
"You alright, Tessa?" I asked her.
She shook her head no and just laid beside me.
"I don't feel good, dad." She said.
"Tummy problems?" I asked her.
"Yeah, but not those kind of problems," she said.
I looked at her with concern.
"I'm having pain in my left kidney. It usually happens when I bend down or stand up. Laying down seems to cure it, but it's still there, you know?" She said.
"Maybe you have a Kidney Stone? I don't know. I'll text Andy to buy you Ibuprofen or Advil to take of the pain for you," I said to her hoping she'll nod in agreement.
"But for now, you will need to rest. I know it might you, but can you go get me a drink of water please?"
"Yeah, sure dad. I'll be right back." She said getting up.

I sat on my bed watching American Horror Story when she came back in my room with a glass of water.
"Thank you." I told her.
She nodded and left the room holding her side. I sure hope she's okay.

Tessa's POV

I woke up this morning in excruciating pain. I didn't know why. I turned to my side and put pressure on it. I didn't know what was going on. Maybe it was a Charlie Horse. Maybe it was just pain from sleeping on it wrong. I have no idea. It was where my Left Kidney was. I stood up and that's when the real pain hit me. I fell to the ground in major pain. I silently got up, trying not to make a noise as people were sleeping. I went to the bathroom and the pain was still there.

I looked through the cabinets to see if there were any pain killers.
There were none!....
I walked back to my room in pain realizing that Andy isn't here. He must be at a store buying stuff knowing as it is that time of month.

It's was currently 4:34 pm when my stomach started to grow. I felt sick. I ran to the bathroom and immediately started puking. Once I was done, I realized that I just puked blood. I wipe my mouth and immediately run to Andy in fear.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Andy asked.
"I j-j-just p-puked b-bl-blood..!" I said shaking.
"Are you serious?!!!" Andy asked in concern.
I shook my head yes and next thing I know, I pass out. The last thing I heard from Andy was, "Tessa? Tessa? BABE? BABE!!!" In fear.

Andy's POV

I was holding Tessa as she was shaking in fear when she suddenly passed out. I shook her and nothing. "Tessa? Tessa? BABE? BABE!!!" I said in fear.
I shook her multiple times when CC ran into the room.
"QUICK, CALL 911!!!" I said to CC in fear.
Cc grabs his phone out and dials 911.
I hear the lady in the back ground saying, "Hello, yes? What is your emergency."
"My niece, Tessa passed out and I don't know what's wrong."
And then I heard mumbling. Cc told me that they'll be here in 15 minutes.

Cc immediately went into Jinxxs room and told him what has happened. I heard Jinxx grab his crutches and immediately come into here.
"What happened to my baby?" Jinxx asked.
"I-I don't know! She just randomly passed out in my arms after throwing up blood!!!" I said.
"Did you say she was puking blood?!" Jinxx said.
"She came to me so scared telling me, and then she just passes out." I said almost in tears.
"Shit," I heard Jinxx say. "where is the damn Medicals?!!!!"

After Jinxx said that, we soon heard what sounded like sirens. The door soon opens with 2 people and a stretcher.
"Young female around 15 years old, unconscious. Give me the oxygen tank!" I heard a male say.
A officer came in and questioned me.
"Age?" He said
"16."
"Height?"
"5'2"
"Weight?"
"110."
"How old are you?"
"18."
"Your height, sir?"
"6'4"
"Weight?"
"150"
"Alright, thank you sir."
And then the officer left. Strange how he didn't ask me what happened. Don't officers usually ask that? Eh, maybe this one doesn't.

---Skip to hospital---

I sat in Tessa's room holding her hand, praying that everything was going to be alright when a nurse came in.
"Andy?" He asked.
"Yes, that's me." I said.
"Your girlfriend, Tessa has lost a lot of blood. Mind telling me what happened?" He said.
"I was standing in her room putting my shirt on when Tessa came running to me in fear. She had said she had puked blood. She was so scared. I held her and the next thing you know, she faints in my arms. It happened so fast." I said looking down.
"Well, I'm afraid that your girlfriend has a bleeding ulcer in her stomach. Now, this can be cured, but she can not eat any type of salts or she'll be in a lot of pain cause once you have an open wound, it hurts to put salt on it."
"She has a what? An ulcer?!" I said.
He shook his head and quietly left the room. What am I going to do? I put my head on her hands that were holding mine and went to a soft sleep. I hope this is one big nightmare. I just hope that it is.
