Dick Grayson x reader

The next few chapters are probably going to be about you being their daughter or something like that, I don't know why but I just like doing it.

Y/n's pov

       "I'm what?" I growled at the man who I called 'father' for the my entire life! "you're adopted, Y/n, and I am so sorry for not telling you till now," said Dick "and I love you, very much," "if you love me so much you would've told me," I growled "Y/n," Dick began "no!" I growled and headed straight to my bedroom in anger, I slammed the door and locked it, "Y/n, please, open the door," Dick pleaded "go away!" I said, I started packing my things up, I didn't pack my phone since he can track it down. 

       I got changed into black clothing, I opened my window and jumped out to the fire escape. I jumped down the fire escape and started walking away. 

Dick's pov

       I managed to final get the door unlocked, I threw it open to find Y/n gone, her window open 'oh no,' I thought, I quickly grabbed my jacket and rushed to BHPD. After talking to one of the forensic scientist I sent out groups of police men to look for a girl with h/c hair, s/c skin, and e/c eyes. 

       'God, why didn't I tell her earlier?' I asked myself, it's my fault that she ran off. 

Y/n's pov

        I called Red Hood, he got the information I needed and wanted "why do you want these anyways?" he asked "I just found out I'm adopted Uncle, I want to find my real parents," I said "did he tell you?" asked Uncle "no, I found the adoption papers in his room," I said "listen, kid, he loves you and he adopted you for a reason," said Red "maybe you should go back," I shook my head as a no, "no, I have to find my real parents," I said "Y/n, your real parents are dangerous," said Red "let me take you home," "my answer is no and it'll stay no," I said "thank you for getting the information," I said and left. 

3rd person view 

       "Hey, Night, your little girl is heading to y/h/a, you better hurry," said Red Hood "where she's going is not a pretty place," 

*few days later*

Y/n's pov

       I finally reached the house where I was supposed to live and raise in. I knocked on the door once, the door opened, a woman with h/c hair opened it, she shrieked at the sight of me, "get out!" she shrieked "what? Why?" I asked "I'm your daughter!" I said "get away! Get out!" she shrieked and slammed the door on me. 

       'Is this what Uncle meant? that they were dangerous?' I asked myself 'more like crazy,' I thought, just when I was about to knock again someone knocked me out. 

                          *time skip*

       I moaned softly as I woke up, in front of me a is a woman. I instantly recognized her. Helena Bertinelli. 

       "Hello Y/n," she greeted me "what do you want?" I spat at her, it's not the first time I've met her, "I just want your dad to join Spyral again," she said "well think again," I spat, she squatted down to my level, "you mean the world to him, Y/n, and he'll do anything to keep you safe," said Helena "so, are we going to play nice or not?" 

Dick's pov

       "You sure this is where she went?" I asked to Red Hood "I'm sure, Nightwing," said Red Hood "this is the place," I nodded and we both jumped down. 

       We both got changed before knocking on the door of where Y/n's biological parents lived, a woman opened the door "hello, ma'am," I said "did you happen to see a girl with h/c hair, s/c skin, e/c eyes and wearing all black clothing?" I asked "no, and leave," she said and slammed the door on us, Red and I shared a look, the fuck? Instead of me trying, it was Red Hood and he got the same result. 

       "If Y/n got the same result then where is she?" I asked, I heard crackling from my earpiece "hello Dick," said a familiar voice "Helena?" I asked "I'm surprised you didn't forget me," she said "you wanna know where dear little Y/n is don't you?" "where is she?" I asked "I have her with me, you know where I am, Dick, make the right choice and she'll be spared," said Helena "listen you psycho woman, let my niece go!" Red Hood growled "I'm not saying anything to you Red Hood, I'm talking to Dick and Dick alone," said Helena "want to hear your daughter, Dick?" Helena asked, the earpiece crackled again, "Dad! don't!" I heard Y/n yelling then a yelp of pain, "leave her alone, Helena!" I said "then come by in 5 hours and I'll let her loose once you do," said Helena "come alone though," she added and she's gone. 

       "You're not going by yourself," said Red Hood "I have to, Red Hood, it's for her safety," I said "if I don't make it back, take care of her for me," I said "I will," he said and we split. 

       Nobody hurts my little girl. 

                                    *time skip*

Y/n's pov

       I tugged on the handcuffs again desperately, I have to get out of here. I felt someone holding a knife against my neck "ah, ah, ah, don't try it, Y/n," said Helena "you monster," I spat at her "I'm doing this for the world," she said "for the greater good," "the greater good?" I repeated "more like the greater bad," I said, the knife went a bit deeper causing a trickle of blood run down my neck, "your daddy is almost late," she said "I guess he's not coming," she said, an escrima stick whizzed by hitting Helena, "hand her over, Helena!" I heard Dad growling, Helena got back up, "we need to come to an agreement first," she said "you said you'll let her go once I get here," said Dad, he dropped in with his Nightwing suit on, "aw, somebody's afraid of his identity is revealed," said Helena "hand her over, Helena," Dad growled "hmm, no," said Helena, she whipped out her crossbow and was about to fire but a gun beat her to it, Helena dropped the crossbow and she fell.

        Someone broke the handcuffs, I looked behind me to see Uncle "Uncle," I whispered "hey, it's alright, we got you," he said and picked me up, Dad checked if Helena's out or not, "she's out, she's not dead either," he said, Dad walked over to me and cupped his hand against my cheek, "I'm sorry, I should've told you earlier," he said, I shook my head, "it's my fault, Daddy, I shouldn't have left," I whispered and I blacked out. 

                             *time skip*

       When I woke up again I found myself in a hospital bed with the covers up to my chin. I found Dad asleep in a chair besides me, the door opened and Aunt Barbara came in stealthily "you're awake," she whispered "how are you?" "sore, I hurt everywhere," I whispered back, she walked over to Dad and wrapped a blanket around him, "he's been here ever since he and Jason found you," Aunt Barbara explained "Jason stayed here for a few weeks but he had to leave because of the Outlaws," she went on "do you forgive him?" she asked, I looked at Dad, "I do," I said "good," she said and she shook Dad, she quickly left. 

       Dad sat up and realized I'm awake "how do you feel?" he asked "sore, I hurt everywhere," I whined, Dad smiled, "I'm glad you're awake though," he said "so am I, Dad," I said "I'm sorry for storming off like that," I said "I should be the one apologizing, Y/n, I kept your birth right for your entire life, everyone kept telling me to tell you but I kept saying you weren't ready but I realized I was the one who wasn't ready," said Dad "how about we start over?" I suggested "it'll be nice," I added "if it means having you then yes," he said, I smiled and that's what we did.
