Tim Drake x reader

Y/n's pov

       Just when I was about to wheel myself into the elevator Vanessa and her group of friends were waiting, "just use the stairs, Y/n," Vanessa said with a sickly, sweet voice, she and her friends laughed at me because of it, "can you please move?" I asked "I have to get to class," "pfft, yeah right. Y/n L/n, the perfect little student, needs to get to class!" Vanessa laughed "HEY! LEAVE HER ALONE! DON'T YOU HAVE ANYTHING BETTER TO DO?!" I heard a voice shouting, I turned my head to see Tim Drake, he's in my AP Algebra class,  "oh goodie! Another Wayne scholar," Vanessa sneered "you two belong together," she said and she shoved me out of chair, Tim caught me and watched Vanessa and her group leave. 

       Tim picked me up and placed me back into the wheelchair, "thanks," I said softly, Tim smiled and gently took my hand, "no problem, Y/n, you shouldn't be bullied because of what's happened to you," "thanks again," I said "want me to wheel and take you to class?" he asked "sure," I said. Tim wheeled me in and the doors shut.

       Ever since that day, Tim's been my loyal friend and protector, his brothers protected me time to time but Tim's the one who stayed by my side the most. A girl named Barbara Gordon told me that she was paralyzed, "but how are you walking again?" I asked "I got surgery, an implant was implanted on my spine which mended it," said Barbara "speaking of which, I think Tim's foster father, Bruce Wayne, has been talking about letting you get the same treatment," "you mean, he's paying for it?" I asked "sure, he already knows about your basic medical insurance, and Tim was the one who told him about you," said Barbara "oooooh no, no," I said "no," "yes," Barbara said with Tim, who had joined the conversation, "Y/n, don't you want to walk again?" asked Tim "I know you want that," "I mean, I do," I said "but, mone-," I began "money isn't an issue," said Tim "Y/n, please," "Tim, Barbara, are you sure I can walk again?" I asked "we can't grantee that you can walk again, but it's worth the shot," said Barbara "okay," I said. 

       The next few days was a whirlwind, Mr. Wayne arranged a the same surgery as Barbara, the best neurosurgeon that money can buy was waiting for me as I wheeled in.

It was a success! It's going to take a while for the implant to start working, but the surgeon is certain it'll work soon. The next few days, Tim and I were having physical therapy 24/7, one day when I came in pallet bars were there making me confused. 

       "Today, Y/n, is the day where you walk," said Tim, he pushed me to the bars, "Tim, I don't know if I can do this," I said, Tim squatted to my level, "Y/n, you are one of the most willed, most confident, and the most determined girl I've met," said Tim "now, are you ready?" I nodded, Tim helped me up. 

       My hands are placed on the bars, Tim rested his hands on my waist, "okay, put some weight on your legs," Tim ordered, I placed some weight, it was painful, "I can't do it," I said "yes you can," Tim said "Y/n, I'm here, I'm always here, I'll always be there," said Tim "you can do it," I put some weight again making me wince, "okay, take a step forward," said Tim, I put a lot of energy into my legs and forced my leg to move. 

       Tim ducked underneath my arm and stood in front of me, "take another," he commanded softly, and I did, I continued doing so. Soon, I didn't need the bar anymore, I had to cling onto it once in awhile but most of the time I didn't need it. When I reached the end of the bars I collapsed into Tim's arms, "I did it!" I cheered "Tim! I walked!" Tim smiled "that's great!" said Tim, he then gently pressed his lips against mine, I happily sank into his arms and kissed back. Tim's my best friend, my first friend, my first lover, and my cheerleader, if it weren't for him, I would be lost and broken.
