I was starting to doze off during the movie. I can't fall asleep or Jacob will think I'm bored. I think to myself.

I noticed Sammy had fallen asleep when her head lays on my shoulder. "Goodnight." I whisper as I kiss her head. I lay there with her even when the show goes off. Her phone starts to vibrate and I see it's her mom. I grab her phone and answer "hello?" I question. "Sammy?" I hear her mother question. "It's Jacob, Sammy fell asleep watching a movie. Do you think it would be okay if she spent the night?" I ask nervously. "Oh, well. You guys do have school tomorrow, but I need to get some work done. So have fun." Her mother says quickly as she hangs up. I shake Sammy slowly. "Sammy." I repeat. She then opens her eyes and looks at the time. She bolts up. "I'm late!" She says in shock. "Sammy, your mom said you could spend the night." I say calmly. The worry leaves her face and she calms down. We walk upstairs to my room. "You can have the bed, I got the floor." I say turning off the light. "We should hang out more. I think I like you." I say calmly out loud. "Yeah, I think I like you too." She says sitting up and looking at me. "Sammy? Do you think you would want to be my girlfriend?" I ask out of no where. I can't see her but I know she's smiling, like I can hear it. "Yes." She says happily.
