DOMINIQUES POV:
I quickly got into Jabaris car before he drove off.
Me: you seem depressed.
Jabari: this shit isn't easy.
Me: talk to her. I promise you it will make it all better.
Jabari: how?
Me: you'll know where each other's minds are at. You know she's in the same mood you are.
Jabari: I don't care Dominique she did this shit not me.
Me: just tell her how you feel and let her speak her mind. You can't have your children seeing you both like this. It's not healthy.
He leaned back biting his jaw I knew he still loves Malassia but I also know he's hurt.
Me: let me take the children to cinema and you two at least talk to each other alright ?
He shook his head tapping on the steering wheel.
Me: what about your children?
He took a deep breath ignoring me. 5 minutes of silence later he finally responded.
Jabari: fine.
Me: wait here. I'll take this kids out first.

JABARIS POV:
Dominique left about 20 minutes ago and I was still sat in my car not wanting to go into the house but I eventually built up the courage and walked in since Dominique purposely left it unlocked.
Me: Malassia?
I didn't get a response so I walked into the front room where she sat staring at the blank tv screen. She turned to me then turned away wiping her eyes as if I didn't already see her tears.
Me: are you ready to talk?
She nodded bursting out into tears. This is why I didn't wanna do this shit today.
Malassia: why are you doing this to me ?
Me: you did this not me.
Malassia: I didn't want to mess us up.
Me: this isn't the first time you've done this to me. When you first started college you left me for him. You and him kept the abortion from me and YOU promised me you didn't cheat then I had to find out from diamond and you still denied it.
Malassia: I know that Jabari. I was young and stupid, I'm sorry I put you through all of that but it's different now.
Me: no. I don't wanna hear that. I'm done looking stupid for you. I'm only here so our children aren't effected by what's going on between us.
Malassia: I can make it up to you.
Me: I don't want you to.
Malassia: what do you want from me then?
Me: you cheated on me then left me. The first time you made me fight him for you, only for you to go with him and leave me looking like a fucking idiot.
Malassia: I'm sorry.
Me: no. Sorry don't cut it. I took you back after he fucked you over and you do this shit to me again? Why?
Malassia: I just wanted to get back at you.
Me: for what?
Malassia: you always made me feel like I was never enough.
Me: how?
Malassia: you left me because I wasn't ready for you to take my virginity.
Me: so you cheat on me 10 years later?
Malassia: no Jabari you're not understanding me. Every time you've cheated on me it was with some random girl you was just using for sex.
Me: would you rather me cheat with someone I want to be with like you and Trey?
Malassia: I don't want to be with Trey.
Me: that's not what he was thinking and you know it.
Malassia: I know that I just didn't want to hurt him.
Me: so you hurt me instead ?
She sighed out standing up. I watched her as she took my engagement ring off of her thumb then she took my hand in hers.
Me: no Malassia
Malassia: let me make it right ... please.
Me: I'm not putting it back on.
Malassia: fine.
She stood looking up at me like I was supposed to do something.
Me: you did this.
I walked out of the room fighting the urge not to give into her.
Malassia: wait ... please
Me: you made me fight for you.
Malassia: I promise you I'll make it right.
I closed my eyes as she came up to me holding onto the back of my neck.
Me: I'm done with you. This isn't the first time you've done this to me with him.
Malassia: would it of made a difference if it was somebody else?
Me: yes !
Malassia: but I want you and only you ... I love you and only you
Me: it's too late.
I pulled her hand from around me walking out to my car. I'm not done with her but I can't be the one having to suffer because of what did, so I'm done for now or I've got to at least teach her a lesson.
