2 MONTHS LATER:
I looked at Trey not knowing how to feel. He was grinning at me holding up two tickets to Paris.
Trey: Malassia don't do this to me.
I slowly grinned back hugging him. I no longer feel guilty about Jabari not knowing because he has somebody and everyday without fail when I go to get Ty she's there. Not gonna lie after I spoke to Kayla I didn't see her there for about a week then once she came back all she did was give me dirty looks but it's whatever I'm in a happy place right now with Trey. Jabari was avoiding me and acting like I was invisible but for some reason I was getting closer to his little brother Jerome. Even though they didn't really grow up together he reminds me so much of a younger version of Jabari.
I leaned back looking at Trey as he pulled me onto his lap.
Me: when are we going?
Trey: next week
Me: bu-
Trey: don't worry about Ty and Lisa. I've spoken to your mum and Sabrina.
Me: so they knew before me?
Trey: I just didn't want you to have an excuse to say no.
Me: so how long are we going for?
Trey: 3 days. You've been stressing for the passed few months over your work and all the drama that's been happening I just want you to relax for a few days.
Me: Thank you Trey.
Trey: you're welcome baby.
I pecked him on his lips then rested my head on his shoulder.
Me: I need to go get Ty and Lisa.
Trey: I was speaking to Sabrina about Ty staying with his dad. Obviously I couldn't ask him but it's up to you.
I looked up at him sighing out. I know Jabaris gonna want that but at the same time I don't want him to know I'm going away with Trey.
Me: yeah, I'll talk to him.
Trey: you ain't gotta tell him you're coming with me if you don't want.
Me: I can't deal with that drama today Trey
Trey: I get you don't worry.
I sighed out again getting off his lap. I know he hates that I was keeping him away from Jabari even though he knew why I know he thinks there's more to it. Everyone knows it's the right thing to do right now. Sabrina and Junior both know and they've kept it to them self so why should I tell him and create endless drama?
Me: I'm sorry.
Trey: I told you, you don't need to apologise. I know exactly how he is.
Me: I need to go.
I stood up putting my shoes on so I could leave. He walked up behind me hugging me while kissing on my neck.
Trey: don't stress about it. I told you nobody has to know. As long as I've got you I'm happy.

I stood in the hall waiting for Ty who was for some reason play fighting with Jerome even though they knew I was waiting. I watched Jabari walk out the room and into the kitchen so I followed closing the door behind me.
Me: can I talk to you please?
Jabari: about what
He looked up screwing me so I carried on anyway.
Me: I'm going on holiday for a few days next week
His screw got deeper so I looked away praying he wouldn't flip out on me for some reason.
Me: why are you looking at me like that?
Jabari: are you going alone?
I slowly nodded still looking to the side of him.
Jabari: look at me Malassia.
I ignored him as he walked up to where I was standing.
Me: my mum's having Lisa but it's up to you if you wanna have Ty with you until I come back or her can stay with Dwayne.
Jabari: answer my question
Me: I just need a break
Jabari: you know I would want Ty with me.
Me: that's sorted then I'll see you tomorrow.
I tried to leave but he closed the door back standing literally 2 centimetres from me.
Jabari: now you answer me
Me: yes I am going alone
Jabari: who are you going with Malassia?
Me: I just told you.
Jabari: you're lying.
Me: why are you on my case.
Jabari: I trust you to not hurt me anymore.
Me: are you serious right now?
Jabari: do I look like I'm joking?
Me: you must be.
Jabari: look at me Malassia.
I stood biting my jaw looking behind him. No matter how close he brought his face to mine I was refusing to look.
Me: you're full of shit
Jabari: who are you going with?
Me: how can you get with someone and expect me to be alone forever.
Jabari: this isn't about me.
Me: whatever Jabari.
I pushed his chest back but he held onto my hands pulling me towards him.
Jabari: I let you do what you was doing before but this is too far.
Me: I told you I'm going alone.
Jabari: I don't believe you.
Me: you don't need to because it has nothing to do with you. Go and love your girlfriend.
He chuckled biting his jaw once again screwing.
Jabari: do you think this is a joke?
Me: for the past couple months you haven't even acknowledge me so don't act like what I'm doing effects you. I'm happy right now so don't spoil this for me.
Jabari: then tell me who it is.
Me: fuck you.
I tried to leave again but he slammed the door back closed taking his phone out.
First he called Sabrina putting it on loudspeaker.
Sabrina: hello?
Jabari: who's Malassia going away with next week?
Sabrina: are you serious right now?
Jabari: are you going to answer my question?
Sabrina: she's going alone
He hung up calling Junior
Junior: you good?
Jabari: who's Malassia going away with next week?
He went silent for a while
Junior: fuck
My heart skipped a beat Junior knew I was back with Trey he just doesn't know we're going away but I know he's smart enough to put 2 and 2 together. But would he tell Jabari?
Jabari: tell me?
Junior: I didn't know she was going away.
Jabari: are you sure?
Junior: yeah. I gotta go I'll speak to you later.
Jabari looked at me after junior hung up.
Jabari: what are you not telling me?
Me: bye Jabari.
I rolled my eyes at him walking out. I don't know why he's always doing shit to get to me. He broke up with me over 3 months ago and now he's here trying to make me feel guilty for moving on when he's already did the same.
Jabari: Malassia wait
Me: no ...fuck you.
I went into the front room.
Me: Ty come on we need to go.
I looked up at Kayla who sat screwing me like she usually does but today I wasn't in the mood.
Me: have you got a problem?
Straight away Jerome stood up leading me out of the room.
Jerome: don't do this right now.
Me: I'm trying my hardest right now
He pulled me into a hug.
Jerome: whatever it is stressing you forget about it.
I chuckled shaking my head
Me: it's not that simple.
Jabari: Malassia.
Me: please don't start again.
Jabari: I just wanna know
Me: I already told you what you need to know.
Jabari: kool... you're not going
Me: its not your decision to make
Jabari: is that what you think?
Jerome: I thought you two were separated?
Me: exactly
Jabari: I don't give a fuck. I tried with you for over 10 years don't fuck me over right now.
Me: for 6 of those years you wasn't even here.
Jabari: all I'm saying is you're not going.
Kayla: what's going on?
I sighed out opening the door.
Me: Jerome can you get Ty please?
Jabari: babe don't worry
Kayla: no dont tell me not to worry. What the fuck is happening now?
Jabari: Kayla watch it
I chuckled stepping outside with Jerome behind me.
Jerome: he's putting his shoes on
Me: he's been doing that for the past 10 minutes.
Jerome: you know he can hear you two arguing and swearing at each other?
Me: can you please go back in and get him?
Jerome: can't you two atleast make up and talk to him together?
Me: Jerome can you hear the bullshit that's coming out his mouth?
Jerome: listen, this ain't got shit to do with your relationship. This is for your children.
I looked away tapping my foot on the pavement.
Me: fine
I opened the door only for Kayla to walk out pushing me hard on the way.
Me: are you crazy?
Kayla: try me...
