After a while, Mrs. Tenney nodded and she left for her office. Brandon stayed there for a moment, as if replaying their whole conversation. He looked around, searching for a direction to go in until he saw me standing there. A smile instantly grew on his face as he came towards me.
"Hey! What are you doing here?" he asked.
"Oh.. Well.. I came to ask you something.." I replied.
"Alright, go ahead."
"You and my mom were part of the scheme to put the microphone and camera inside my present, right?"
"Uh.."
"My mom told me everything...."
"I'm sorry.. We just watned to keep you safe.."
"I know. So do you have.. Like.. Any magical powers?"
"I do, but I rarely use it.. My powers are to change the weather. It's basically nothing compared to your rare fortune telling powers."
"Oh.. I see.. So what am I supposed to do if I 'bump into' the Shadow Lord?"
"Um, let's see.. If he's loking for you, you're in big trouble. You'll probably get a dream the day before though... But you would probably have to go under cover and hide."
Just as Brandon finished the last word, the bell rang.
