CAUTION! THIS IS GOING TO SPOIL if you have not seen the movie. PLEASE watch The Desolation of Smaug first. It is brilliant. It is amazing. I reccomend it over Frozen. Go see it :) Now, for those who have seen it. Here is the story. Enjoy

We weren't safe on that large rock. After we climbed down the stairs we heard their howls a few hours later, but we had already been hastening our steps when Gandalf seemed to begin running. It wasn't long before we actaully began running. The Wargs howled so loudly that we heard the echo of the wargs. Thorin ordered us to run as far as we could. We ran behind a small hill on the mountain. I looked back at the Elf and glared at her as I ran. Kili placed his arm on my shoulder and gestured for me to look ahead with a smile. I smiled and took one last glance back. Calaniel tapped Gandalf's arm and spoke in Elvish to him.

"We must form a plan," Gandalf said as he stopped running. We all stopped in out tracks behind the hill.

Thorin turned to Gandalf. "I thought we did. Run from the Orc pack and hope to reach a town where we can seek food and rest."

Gandalf sighed and looked from Caleniel to Thorin. "We need to look at our situation more carefully. There is not a town within a range we can run to. Not safely anyway."

My brows furrowed. "What exactly do we need to check more carefully then? They're after us. They're getting closer to us the more we sit here." The dwarves nodded as they quietly spoke amoungst themselves.

"You're gonna listen to that thing just because she's an Elf?" Bombur pointed at Caleniel.

"What if she's supposed to stop us from reaching the mountain?" Fili stepped forward, glaring at Caleniel.

Gandalf's brows crashed together, and there was a warg howl that sounded very close by. "She heard the steps of that Warg long before any of us did." He turned to Caleniel.

Caleniel stared back. "You must not simply look at me. They are much faster and closer than I thought. We must fully know what our situation is."

Thorin huffed and looked at Fili and Kili. "Scout ahead."

"No!" Gandalf turned to Bilbo. "We must send Bilbo to scout."

Thorin's brows furrowed. "The hobbit?" Bilbo looked at Thorin and looked away. Thorin continued. "He is neither a scout nor swordsman. He will--"

"Not let us down. He surprised us once, have faith he can do it again." Gandalf lowered his chin. "Remember, Hobbits can be as quiet as a mouse. He has lighter feet than all of us." Thorin frowned and stared at Gandalf. Gandalf turned to Bilbo. "Now Bilbo, do not let me down."

"R-right." Bilbo nodded. Caleniel smiled and pointed up the hill, whispering to him. Bilbo nodded and ran up the hill.

Thorin stood beside me. "What do you know of her?"

I stared at Caleniel. "The same as you know. She's probably as stuck up as all the Elves I've met on this journey. I kind of don't like the fact that she thinks she's SUPPOSED to follow me. I don't even know why she is following me."

Thorin looked at me. "I thought it was to send you home."

"I thought so too, but she told me there was no way for me to return." I locked my gaze with Thorin's. "I was hoping..." I looked away. "I was hoping that I could find a way home. When I first got here, I didn't know what was going on. I sort of just followed you guys, and on the way here, I realized I could have left when I wanted to. But then... I thought I would be lost if I did leave you guys. Is that strange?" I locked my gaze with Thorin again.
