"I will never forget that night when my whole world shattered before me. When I was stripped away from everything and everyone I loved. It happened on a bitter cold November night. I remember each and every chilling raindrop that stung my skin. I re...

For some reason it won't let me add a title photo so I just put it down here.
POV: Leonardo My limbs felt like they were made of cement. Every muscle in my body ached. I opened my eyes to realize that I was still hanging in the glass cage inside the lab. I had been so exhausted that I must have fallen asleep. I heard low chatter of passing scientists and soldiers come and go as I watched them through the glass wall, walking dcown the hallway. I despised these people. I purposely would glare at them as they walked by making feel uncomfortable as possible.
A few hours passed as bordome began to set in. Then the lights in the room flickered on and the lab door opened. Carlos stepped lightly is to the lab, approaching my containment with a dozen or so black Foot soldiers following him as they surrounded the cage. Ok. This is starting to get old. "What do you want from me know?" My voice was strained, but I was too the point where I just didn't care anyway. "You've already provided so much for me Leonardo. How could I possibly ask for more?" "I've had enough of your bullshit already! It's been four days, where is Raquel?!" For some reason the greasily man sighed, leaning his weight on his cane. "Remember when I said that she did not mutate properly...that she was a lost cause for what we are trying to accomplish? " I don't know if he was trying to pissed me off, I furrowed my brows in anger at his statement, but I nodded. "Well, I've decided to return her to her normal state, and relive her from the project. " My heart lifted at his words. I couldn't believe what he was saying. "Y-You...You changed her back? How?" "We were able to get access to the retro mutagen from a...reliable resource. " "What resource is that?" Though I could only guess who it was. I had a feeling it was Baxter Stockman. After me and my brothers saved New York from the invasion of Krang, Stockman was still yet to be found. I can only think that after the defeat of Shredder, he would come back a kiss up to Sacks and Quinn, giving them the samples of the remaining retro mutagen. I'd been willing to bet. "None of your concern, that is all I can say. But I did assure you that Miss Cross would be in safe hands and will be set free from the project once we returned her to normal. " I felt like all the weight has been lifted off my shoulders. For the first time being in this hell hole, I was at ease. They were setting her free. She wouldn't have to deal with these twisted people anymore for the rest of her life. But most importantly she was human again and that was the biggest relief to me. That she no longer had to feel the pain of being a freak, no longer infected with my accursed DNA. I closed my eyes and lifted my head to the light above. "Thank you God. " Carlos apparently must've heard me and let an amused smirk cross his lips. "I know you care for her, and that she cares for you...But I'm afraid she'll be the only one leaving. Were not quite finished with you yet. You will remain here." My smile quickly vanished from my face, all this was getting to be ridiculous. They want to drain my blood and used for the mutagen to create these beasts of war from humans test subjects, I got that much. But what else do they want? There not telling me! "I don't understand! " I shouted at Quinn, "What do you want from me?!" There, I finally said it. I was finally able to blurt out the question that I've been trying to answer since all this shit happened. Now I was demanding an answer. I won't let him beat around the bush this time. "We need you for our research to perfect a syrum that will soon enhance mankind." "By turning people into monsters? Innocent people and children?!" "Leonardo, you're not quite grasping the bigger picture here." Quinn raised his cane in the air and motioned to the room around him. "Can't you see all this is for the future of the evolu-" "I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU'RE EVOLUTIONARY BULL CRAP! You say this will enhance mankind, but what you dont see is that there wont be nothing left of mankind if you continue what your doing. What you're doing is wrong!" Carlos sighed but merely shrugged. "No matter. Even though you don't see it. I'm sure the rest of the world will see you my way." Blaring alarms sounded off and red lights started flashing. Eveyone looked around edgily. Carlos gave a discouraging growl. "Foot soldiers, to me!" And with that, the soldiers exited the labratory. Quinn turned on his heels and strode out of the room"
