"y-you..." pearl stammered. "Love... me? Connie, you can't be-"

"I am fully serious ma'am" connie said boldly. "I know that I love you"

Pearl smiled weakly. "This can't happen"

Connie glared in frustration. "WHY?" She cried out. "YOU KISSED ME FIRST!"

"Yes, and it was a mistake!" Pearl rebutted, ignore the twisting feeling of guilt in her fake stomach.

Connie froze. "M-mistake? I-i..."

"Connie" pearl said sharply. "You are dismissed"

Connie bit back tears and glared at pearl. "Fuck you"

"Connie!" Pearl gasped. "Language!"

"I DONT LOVE YOU AFTER ALL!" Connie shouted. "You're just a stupid mistake!"

Pearl stared wide eyed as the teenage girl ran, before falling to her knees and staring at the floor in disbelief before she began to tear up as well.

She covered her mouth with her hands.
