Chapter 7: Traveling to the most dangerous part of Binura, Swamp of the Uglies

As the bunch arrived back to Mermaid Bay, an unexpected guest has arrived. Her feathers where amazing but she looked very ordinary. She introduced herself but she could tell that they were very cautious on her moves. Her name was Alicia. Alicia pleaded all of them to take her along their journey. Alina could tell with one glimpse that she and the others could trust her. As Alina was respected by the others, they agreed. Alicia was delighted with the change of heart. Alina was happy but she was wondering why a random girl asked them to join the group, even though they are total strangers. Katelyn and Loki was still cautious on every movement she made, they don't trust Alicia fully. After a week has past, they arrived at the border. As they rest for the day, Katelyn could fell strange vibes from the forest. In a flash, it was already morning and Alina was taking stroll before they leave. As the foul smell disappeared for the mist, someone crept up behind her. Without thought she straight away punched it. They fell down and Alina had a disappointed face on. Loki was smiling, Alina asked "why must test my instincts Loki?" Loki smiled and hugged Alina "because Alina I L..." before he could say another word Alina stopped him. "Loki please stop; I don't want to hear anymore." Loki was worried with Alina strange attitude and kept on asking the same question. Alina couldn't take it anymore and replied "it is because I realised that I...I..." before Alina could finish they heard a scream. Alina and Loki straight away ran as fast as they could. By the time they arrived it was too late. Meliora was laughing and disappeared. Katelyn was on the floor, stabbed on the leg and was breathing heavily. "NOOOO! Katelyn what happened to you please tell me what happened!? Alina yelled. As Alina was in tears, a sudden memory popped up in her mind. It kept replaying the words "Run Alina, Run!!" She saw her father, baby sister and someone else but she couldn't see. Alina got back to her senses but they weren't at their camp anymore. Someone was walking in and Alina was ready to attack. Before she attacked, she realised it was Alicia. She was relieved and put down her weapon. Alina suddenly remembered Katelyn and straight away asked. As Alina was worried, Alicia face looks sad. Alina wasn't ready for the news, but Alicia caught up and said "oh, Alina don't worry she not dead but let's say she transformed..." Alina was confused about the current situation. Alina also asked where she was, Alicia explain the situation. "Alina, we are in the Griffin kingdom right now and my father is helping you, he is a doctor," Alicia exclaimed. Alina had the job to protect her sister, but she failed. She demanded Alicia to leave her alone for a while. Alicia followed Alina's words and left her alone. Suddenly, the memories came back to Alina's mind. Someone's voice in the mist of memories. "your daughters will suffer, when they are 13, making them and the people surround them change. If you want one to have a less harsher fate than choose wisely, Leia." Alina was thinking why that name was so familiar but she still couldn't recognise the face. As Alina came back to her senses again, something strange was in the atmosphere. She looked out the window. There was a colossal snake attacking the kingdom.Someone was riding the snake. She had blue snakes coming out of her head, was it the legendary Medusa. Alina recognise the voice from afar, it was Katelyn?! Alina was shocked on who could Katelyn turned into a horrid beast. Then she remembered the curse, three years ago. Alina yelled "no this can't be happening!" Loki came in and gave Alina her weapon. It was like if he knew what the situation was. She was afraid she had to kill her beloved sister, so she had to think of ways to save her before the curse becomes permanent. As they prepared their gear, they were ready for the plan to save Katelyn.
