Chapter 3: Journey to the Mines

As they rode to the Gold mines to find the next object, They went by the Hot springs of Relaxation and Katelyn really want to go, so they stopped there. Alina exclaimed" Loki If I catch you peaking at us, I will break both of your arms," as, she gave him even more colder eyes than before that it gave him chills up his spine. Loki replied fine and had a major sad face while he walked away. As they two entered the springs, Katelyn and Alina's hated feelings disappeared and they couldn't help but being relaxed. As they finished their bathe, They got dressed and saw Loki waiting at the tree that they left their weapons. Alina realised that Loki can be reliable even if he is a flirt, so they camped over night. Alina was gazing at the stars, thinking about the village and her father. Loki suddenly came to comfort her but she rejected him, she knew that she had to tell him her beginning story, so she did. Katelyn was peaking and keeping an eye on Loki, so she waited patiently. Then sun was up and Alina, Katelyn and Loki was ready to now. 2 hours later they managed to be at the mines. As they entered the gold mines and all the leprechauns were petrified. Alina tried to talk to one of them but each word was stuttering, so they needed to investigate. Alina then heard a loud roar for the tunnel in front of them and ran straight there. It was the roar of a dragon, was it angry or crying in loneliness. The dragon had a different language and no one could understand, but only Alina can. Alina tried to comfort the dragon with her sweet voice and so the dragon felt better as she was the only creature, either than dragons, who wasn't scared of him. The dragon was now feeling better and told her that his name was Elixir. Alina heard of that name before and remembered that her father was also friends with a dragon named Winter who had a nephew named Elixir. Elixir was surprised that she knew his aunty Winter and was relieved. Alina asked if he knew where the Gold that shines like thousand, He showed the gold but the leprechauns and dwarves need an agreement first. So Loki made a trade between the leprechauns and dwarfs. They all agreed as she did help their problem and the some of the scales were good to make new pickaxes. Loki only had 3 scales left but that is all they needed. As they waved bye to Elixir and the others, they got more suppliers, warmer clothes and went straight to the Snow Region.
