Pearl and Lapis had landed and spent two whole days talking just talking. About Homeworld, Rose, and the battle. Pearl sighed softly as she glanced at Lapis. She was surely a nice gem. She wanted to share her with the other gems. But she wasn't sure on how they were going to react. Especially Amethyst. Lapis noticed Pearl grow quiet.
" Are you thinking? " She asked softly. She already knew the answer. Lapis had learned so much about Pearl the last few days. Especially how close her and the leader of the Rebellion, Rose Quartz had been. So close, Pearl cried when she talked about her.
Pearl glanced at Lapis nodding softly. "Yeah, just a little."
Lapis smiled softly. "What about?"
"Well I can't keep you trapped in here for much longer. It wouldn't be right..I want you to meet the other gems...but I'm not sure how Amethyst would react.." She said softly.
Lapis nodded. "I'm sure there's other places we could go, and as for the gems...well.." Lapis drifted off. Unsure what to say.
"Tomorrow." Pearl said simply. "Tomorrow, you'll meet the gems."
"Pearl!" She heard a voice calling her voice outside of the room. Pearl glanced at Lapis.
"I'll be back." Lapis nodded and Pearl stood up jumping down. Her gem began to glow and a door opened and she walked out of the room. She looked and saw Garnet standing and waiting for her.
"So you are okay. Amethyst was worried. She's outside." She pointed at the door. Hinting to go out the door. Pearl nodded as she walked out the door. She looked around and saw Amethyst laying in a human beach chair and Pearl crossed her arms tapping her foot softly. Amethyst turned around seeing Pearl. Amethyst's eyes widened slightly but she huffed.
" What do you want?" She said coldly.
" Actually Garnet called me out. Said you were worried about me." Pearl said simply.
" Wow, surprise you listened. And no I wasn't.." Amethyst denied her cheeks darkening slightly.
" Yeah okay. If you excuse me, I have something to prepare for." Pearl turned going inside.
" There she goes. Rushing back to the safety of her room."
"Amethyst!" Pearl spun around frustrated.
" Oh no did I strike a match?" She snickered.
" Just let it go Amethyst! "
" Why don't you just let Rose go!"
Pearl gasped and she blushed an aqua spinning around and went inside. She mumbled to herself. She passed Garnet on the way to the temple door. Garnet chuckled lightly.
" See you tomorrow~" She said and Pearl's eyes widened and she opened the door to her room. She walked inside thinking.
