-Miranda P.O.V.-
I stared at Alyssa's unconscious body. Something was not right. "Somebody!!! Get a medic!!!" I yelled.
I rested a hand on Alyssa's head and waited a moment. I retracted my hand due to the extreme heat that she emitted.
"She has a fever..." I murmured. I set her body slowly on the ground, making sure that her head didn't have a hard impact with the ground.
I checked for her pulse. Ba-dum. She had a pulse. Thats good.
I stood up, and walked over to the nearby stream. I pulled out a knife and cut off a piece of my tunic. I kneeled down, and soaked the fabric into the freezing water.
After letting it soak for a minute or so, I took out the fabric and walked over back to Alyssa.
Thankfully, she was still okay. I quickly set down the fabric on her forehead.
I then saw Martin walk back with a little black-haired child. "Miranda," Martin said, "Meet our younger brother Kyle, he's our medic."
"Nice to meet ya." The boy, now known as Kyle stated.
"Likewise," I replied, " Um... What should we do? I mean that she just all of a sudden fell and she fai-"
"Its alright. Its normal for this to happen."
"What to happen?"
"See those bandages all over her body?" he pointed to the bloody bandages, I nodded, "The marks that are underneath them are caused by Ghouls. Ghouls are extremely venomous and if left untreated for too long it leads to faintings. We've been using a substitute for the anti venom for days now."
I sighed. "Now what? I wish I could help more but I can't at the moment." I mentioned.
"She'll be all right. As long as she doesn't exert herself too much." Kyle replied.
I stood up. "She needs to get on a horse or something sturdy so it'll be easier to get her to a place that sells the anti venom." Martin replied.
Martin grabbed on of Alyssa's arms and hung it behind his neck. He then stood up. "She'll be fine for several more days. If we don't give it to her by then, she'll die." Kyle stated. I nodded.
"And how will we transport her still?" I asked.
"Well, we have a newer contraption that we can try now that we have the opportunity." Avery walked up. He smiled.
"Okay, right. And what is this contraption called?" I asked. Avery smiled. And I swear to you, I kid you not, I thought I saw his eyes had a visible glare.
"All I can say is that this will revolutionize the future. It's a cart but it can be dragged by horses. I call it a wagon!" he exclaimed.
He snapped his fingers and I heard the sound of the horses whining. I turned around and I saw them.
I glimpsed upon a big box made of wood that stood upon four circular objects. Martin carried Alyssa into the wagon and set her nicely on the floor.
"Okay," he said, "Lets get going then shall we?" he asked.
"Yeah!" came everyone's cries.
We were on our way to the next town.
