There was a beautifully furnished room. Oaken doors, ornate rugs, open space. Sunlight beamed in through the arch windows over looking the beautiful blue ocean. The ocean was accompanied by splotches of heavenly white clouds.
It was a beautiful day.
Bookcases lined the walls and a desk filled with computers dominated the space. A telescope was poking out of an open window, letting in the cool sea breeze.
A man sat at the desk, pouring over some books.
He was an older man who wore a white lab coat and suit pants. He wore a drained expression, the effort of his work was taking up all of his energy. It showed too, he looked like the type of man who lived off coffee. That constantly tired look, that five o clock shadow...
The elderly man ran his hand over his bald head.
The door opened. Myrrah walked in.
Without a word, she placed a conical flask on his desk. A conical flask of what appeared to be Imulsion. A yellow liquid filled the bottom of it with golden steam-like vapor dancing around it.
But this Imulsion was different. It was Imulsion mixed with blood, human blood.
It was the cure.
The man's face beamed with hope...
