I woke up from a stinging pain in my shoulder. I groaned and started rubbing around the pain. I learned the hard way, that actually touching the pained spot makes it worse sometimes. I sat up and nearly jumped out of the bed when I saw something I couldn't make out. My curtains were closed so the room was dark and whatever it was, I didn't remember it being there when I fell asleep.

I flicked on my lights to see two feet and two legs falling off the bed at the knees.

I heard a sudden snore and craned my neck to see over the edge.

I let out a relieved breathe when I noticed the ginger hair. I snickered when I saw Lian, her legs were still on the bed, but the rest of her was on the floor, she had one arm over her head and the other was laying across her face.

"Lian," I whispered.

She moaned and moved so she was sprawled out and looked as if she had just fallen backward off the bed.

I picked up her feet at the ankles and tossed them over the edge of the bed. Her body was now twisted strangly.

Jeez, she is one deep sleeper...I either need a marker, or something to throw.

With no marker in reach I grabbed a textbook off my nightstand, threw it at her, and shouted, "HARPER!"

The book landed with a thud next to her head.

Well...that did nothing.

She suddenly bolted up, "I'M UP! I'M AWAKE! WHO'S DEAD!?"

I burst into laughter, "That's the first thing you ask!?"

"Huh?" She questioned.

"Who's dead, that's the first thing you asked!" I laughed harder.

"Oh..." she looked around, "Wait...why am I in your room?"

"I don't know," I responded. "What happened after we got home? I don't remember, I think Gr- I mean you know who, gave me painkillers."

"He did, and now I remember. I drove us home and we started talking about...stuff I can't remember," she said the last part as if she's a little girl, one of her tells that she's lying.

I cocked an eyebrow at her. "Okay," I shrugged. "What-ever you say."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"Nothing," I said calmly. "Nothing at all."

We both jumped a little when Alfred knocked on the door, "Miss Mary, Ms. Harper. I would suggest you two get up."

Lian looked at me with a thumb pointed at the door, "He knows I'm in here?"

I threw my arms up in annoyance, "Apparently so!"

"What's up with you?"

"Nothing!" I stomped into my closet and looked for an outfit.

"I'm...gonna head to my room."

"Whatever!" I said yanking down a shirt.

Lian's P.O.V

"I'm...gonna head to my room," I said inching toward the door.

"Whatever!" Mary called, clearly annoyed.

Yeesh, the 'Royal Brat' is coming out.

I stepped out of Mary's room and jumped when Alfred unexpectedly said, "Good morning, Ms. Harper."
