Chapter 2: Glory's Birthday

(By the way, Glory is a day older than some of the others in this AU. Just a heads up!)

I turned a bright pink, embarrassed at the comment. 

"Oh my gosh! I nearly forgot! It's your birthday! Happy Birthday!" Sunny squealed, jumping up and down. I put my face in my talons. 

"I told you not to throw a party for me!" I said, muffled. 

"But I did it anyway!" He finished. 

"I'm here!" Cried Moonwatcher as she landed next to us. 

"I got Sunny's text and decided to come! Whoa! Glory, you okay?" She asked. 

"You can read minds! Can't you just read my mind and find out?" I asked. 

"I try not to, most dragons are offended when I do that you know." Moon said. 

"She's just embarrassed that I threw a birthday party for her!" Deathbringer said. 

Oh my gosh! Happy Birthday!" Moon cried. 

"Can we just go inside before I'm mobbed by dimwits." I asked. 

"Anything for you, my love!" Deathbringer said, pulling me close to him with his mighty wing. 

"QUICK! GO! I HAVE SUNNY COVERED! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES! SHE'S GONNA BLOW!" Tsunami cried after Glory and Deathbringer. 

"RUN!" I cried, darting towards the doors. 

"AAAAAHH!!!" Cried the others, rushing after me. We got to the doorway just in time. 

"MY SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIP!" Sunny screamed, jumping up and down. Tsunami ran up to us, and then we began to laugh. Even I laughed, turning a bright pink.

We walked into the club. It was full of lasers and dragons. Teen dragons were every where, dancing to the loud music. They had food and beverages on a table in the corner and a DJ with his high tech equipment on the opposite wall. 

"You want to party here!?" Asked Moon, clapping her claws over her ears. 

"Yeah! It's the best place to party! This club is open 24 seven! All days of the week!" Deathbringer said, leading us through the maze of dragons. 

"It's so loud!" She said. 

"Yeah it is. That's the point!" I said. Moon groaned, gritting her teeth. 

"You okay Moon?" Asked Sunny. 

"It's too loud!" Moon said. 

"Why don't we go outside and help you relax." Said Sunny. Moon allowed herself to be lead out the door into the fresh night air. 

"Oh well. Nothing we can do there. Let's get to the room." Deathbringer said. We walked to the room where the party was being held.

After some cake and present opening, me and Deathbringer decided to go outside and sit on a tree branch in a tree close to the club. I flapped up to one of the highest branches that could hold two dragons trying to get away from all the music, but I could still hear the muffled sounds of chattering dragons and blaring tunes. I began to cough and shiver, but refused to let it show, so I held myself still mentally, forcing my body into an unsuspicious stillness.
