Chapter 10: SUNNY KILLED MY BOYFRIEND!

I trotted out the door and into the sunlight, last night's events replaying in my mind like it was only yesterday, which it was. I was in a happy, bouncy mood today (don't know why) and I was dying to see the others. My headphones bounced around my neck, spewing one of my favorite songs as I half skipped, half walked to the sidewalk. That's when Deathbringer swooped in like a hawk. I yelped in surprise and found him spinning us round and round like a top. We laughed and when we stopped spinning, I was leaning back in his arms like in those movies where the guy had the rose in his mouth and the girl leaning backward as he held them up. He smooched me on the lips and I laughed.

"You dolt!" I laughed.

"You mean 'Handsome'." he said. I laughed again and he smiled.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! HOW CUUUUUUUUTE!" Sunny said, bouncing up to us with Tsunami smirking behind her.

"SUNNY!" I said. Deathbringer laughed pulling me close with a charming smile, as if posing for the camera. I blushed as Sunny clicked away. Tsunami laughed.

"You guys are cute! I'm actually enjoying this!" Tsunami said.

"Here here!" Said Darkstalker, walking around the corner with Clearsight.

"I know right! She's adorable!" Deathbringer said, looking at me then added quietly, "Everything I ever wanted."

I blushed even harder.

"AAAACK! I'm dying! It's TOO CUTE!" Sunny said, jumping in glee.

"CUTENESS OVERLOAD! EVERYBODY RUN!" Tsunami joked, pointing to us. They all laughed again. Deathbringer wrapped his wing around my shoulders and smiled.

"Thanks guys, but he doesn't need the encouragement." I said, pointing to Deathbringer.

"No, no. Keep going! The more she blushes, the cuter she is!" Deathbringer said.

"What?! I'm not just some token to stare at, I am a civilized dragon with feelings!" I said.

"Towards a certain some-dragon!" Deathbringer said. I resisted blushing, but it didn't work.

"Okay, let go of each other before Sunny explodes. I don't think my ears can handle anymore of her fangirling." Tsunami said, pointing to the shaking Sunny who looked like she was going to explode into ear piercing screams of death.

"Well you encouraged him!" I protested.

"Well, I un-encourage him. QUICKLY!" Tsunami said. Too late. Sunny exploded.

"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!" Sunny squealed. Deathbringer and I fell backwards in surprise, with me on top of him. He made an "oof!" sound as I landed on him. The others were staggering around until Sunny's snout was shut manually.

"Ugh...... who turned off the lights?" Deathbringer asked, my wing in his face.

"That would be me." I said pulling it away, "Sorry."

"That's okay. Is anyone else's ears bleeding, or is just me?" Deathbringer said, since he was continuously blinking I decided to pull a small trick on him. I changed my scales around my ears to make them look like they're bleeding. The others gasped, especially Sunny.

"OH MY MOONS! YOU'RE EARS ARE BLEEDING!" Deathbringer said, touching my ear. I held still until he noticed it was fake, which was a scarily long time. When he looked at his claws, he stared at them in confusion. His eyes seemed different, out of position, like something was wrong. I started to freak out on the inside. What happened to him.

"What?" he asked.

"Gotcha!" I said, changing them back. The others half heartedly laughed in relief, all except Deathbringer. He seemed extremely confused and dizzy, like someone had spun him like a top for ten hours and then suddenly stopped the spinning. He stared at me with confusion.
