We charged, claws out stretched and fury and tension rising. I slashed at his back leg to try to knock him over, Deathbringer straight for his throat with lightning speed. The Skywing dodged his disks and snapped at him, jaws closing on empty air. I darted up and onto his back, holding on as he bucked and reared like a bronco at the rodeos. Deathbringer blew smoke into his face, momentarily blinding him so I could claw at his back. The Skywing roared, throwing me off and into a table. I quickly got up and charged again, roaring in delight and thrill. I had't had this kind of excitement in years, and the old, savage hunter inside me was cramped in a little bottle for so long since we stopped the war. I so missed the thrill of fighting for what's right and protecting my friends. The Skywing roared again, using his head like a whip on Deathbringer, throwing him off as well. He pinned the Nightwing down, Deathbringer struggling against his weight, but still strong enough to push him upward. I slashed the Skywing's side, blood spilling on the once clean floor, red mixing with white. His red tail knocked me off my feet, his wing flapping to take down my defenses. I snapped my teeth around on of wings, tasting his dirty blood filled with alcohol. He roared in pain and shook me off. Deathbringer slipped out of his grasp and ran to my side. We charged again and so did the Skywing.

"STOP!" shouted a mall cop. We halted, freezing in our tracks. The cop was a deep, cobalt ocean blue Seawing with a tired and disappointed face.

"Explain!" said the Seawing.

"These brats have insulted Queen Ruby directly! They should be punished for the resistence!" growled the Skywing, motioning to us with his head. He was acting like somme little kid caught fighting over the cookie jar.

"Sir, we did not mean any direct offense. We are just concerned for the well being of the Skywings and the well being of the abused. We meant no harm, we are only defending ourselves and our poor friend." I stated plainly and calmly.

"I want to go home. Where's my mommy?" said Bellflower, shivering in the farthest corner from us and too frightened too talk with Japanese name suffixes.

"We were only talking about our opinions when this SKywing attacked us." Deathbringer explained, holding Bellflower close to him in a hug.

"Is this true?" The Seawing asked the Skywing.

"Yes! I saw the whole thing!" cried the desk clerk, who was hiding behind the desk during the fight.

"What's your name sir?" asked the cop, his eyes on the Red dragon.

"Talon. The name is Talon." Talon said, the red Skywing growled.

"Mr. Talon, you're coming with me. Everyone else, go home and be careful of what you say. Little Rainwing in the corner, stay where you are, we'll find your parents." the cop said, walking off with the grumbling Skywing.

"I want to go home! I want my mommy!" whimpered Bellflower.

"Don't worry, they'll find your mother." said Deathbringer kindly.

"Promise?" sniffed Bellflower, looking up at Deathbringer.

"Promise." he replied.

Minutes later, Rose came rushing in with mall cops trailing behind at a walking pace.

"OH MY BABY! ARE YOU ALRIGHT? DID THEY HURT YOU?" cried Rose, giving her daughter a hug then checking her for any injuries. Bellflower began to cry in her mother's wings.

"She'll be fine. Let's go before we are caught in a mob of confused dragons." I said, Deathbringer nodded. We flew out of the mall, our costumes intact. When we were a mile away from the mall, I got a text message saying,
