You wanted to scream at your room mates. They were always causing trouble or fighting about something stupid. You thought living with them could be easy since you were all childhood friends... it doesn't exactly work out all the time.

There was Edd, he was sweet but a bit of a trouble maker. He would pull pranks on the neighbors which was funny... until he hid behind you when it came to confrontation with them.

Then Matt. He's self-absorbed as heck. He doesn't care about anyone but himself and is a bit of an airhead. It's hard to keep up a conversation with him when all he brings up is himself.

Finally, there's Tom and Tord... always fighting with each other over the littlest things. And you were the one who had to clean up their mess in the end.

You didn't want to do it, but you had to. You needed to move. But where may you ask? Your neighbor's house, of course. (For convenient plot) It made sense you did move on after all since they were also childhood friends. You never talked to them as much as the others but they seemed like they could be nice enough.

Knocking on their door, you waited. Until you heard the doorhandle turn down and a figure in green was in the doorway.

"(Y/N)?" A familiar Brooklyn accent greeted you. "Are the losers plannin' to mess with us again or something?"

"No, I'm not staying with them anymore... do you mind if I stay in your place, Eduardo?"

Eduardo motioned for you to come in with an eyeroll.

"I don't blame ya, sweetcheeks. Those douchebags really get on my nerves sometimes..."

"Thank you so much, you don't know what it's like in there." You sighed as you walked in.

A blond was sitting on the couch, reading a novel, he looked up at you in surprise.

"(Y/N)? What're you doing here?"

"She's finally moved out. The poor girl's been staying for too long, I'm surprised she hasn't been influenced." Eduardo explained.

Then, a short brunette in a blue polo came in from the kitchen. "I finished making breakfast!" He chirped.

He stopped when he saw you, his small eyes widened in excitement. "(Y/N)!! It's been so long since I've seen you!"

You chuckled "Yeah, it has been a while, hasn't it?"

"But enough of this soppy greetin' business, I guess I gotta show you around..." Eduardo explained.

"Thanks Eduardo!" You beamed.

"Err... no problem... (Y/N)..." A faint blush tinted his cheeks.

Timeskip

You had been living with Eduardo and the gang for 3 months now. You had only been begged by your former roommates to come back about 24 times and counting, so you should be fine...?
But recently you were starting to kick yourself, you never thought you would but, you learnt that you had a newfound crush on your roommate... That's right, Eduardo.

You would squeal in your pillow thinking about him, he seemed really harsh to those who don't know him that well, but to you- he was an entirely different person.
He was kind and sweet towards you, eventually you became best friends. You hoped there could be more though.

"Hey (Y/N)... do you wanna... maybe... go on a picnic at the park tomorrow?" Eduardo asked, looking a little bit flustered.

"Sure!" You replied without hesitation.

He looked up, almost as if in surprise.

"Well uh... Okay... Um thanks. I'll go get everything ready now!" Without another word from you he bolted to the kitchen.

Eduardo shot himself to the wall, his heart pounding as he broke into a nervous sweat. "Sh-she wants to hang out with me..." He muttered to himself. He nervously chucked and rested his hand on his forehead. "Okay, get it together Eduardo... just- get yourself together... And everything you need." He took a deep breath and walked over to the fridge, scouring it for food. He took some out and began to prepare everything. It took some time but it was finally packed into the little traditional wooden basket.

Timeskip(again)

The next day rolled around and you awoke to your ex-roommates causing noise again. You sat up, your messy hair rested on top of your head... You looked across the room to your mirror to see yourself. "...My favourite hairstyle.... Homeless." You thought to yourself. You spent the next five minutes lying in bed again, but something was plaguing your mind... You shot back up as soon as you realised what it was. "Eduardo's picnic!" You whispered to yourself suddenly. You got out of bed finally and did your usual morning routine. You picked your favourite outfit. You heard a knock out your door a few moments after, as if by convenient magic.

"(Y/N)? Are you up and decent?" It was Eduardo's voice.

"Yep, do you wanna come in?"

He emerged through the door and looked at you for a moment and blushed. "You look really nice today..."

You playfully punched him on the shoulder and smirked. "I look good all the time you bozo."

He chuckled. "Well, you ready to go yet? All the food's ready."

You nodded and smiled. You grabbed your bag which had your necessities and followed Eduardo outside.

You look around at the world around you.

"See? The outer world looks really nice- especially compared to the phone your on all the time." Eduardo smirked at you.

"...My phone is my life." You looked him dead in the eyes, your tone blunt.

He seemed to be taken aback for a second which made you laugh in response.
"Just kidding! Don't take it so seriously 'Duardo."

He started to chuckle to himself after a while and you two were joking all the way to the park and making conversation.

When you two got there you set down the blanket and started eating the food. You looked at Eduardo's face for a few seconds, you noticed his peach fuzz. You snickered at the thought of Eduardo without it.

He looked up at you and smiled a smile of confusion. "What is it?"

You settled down. "Just thinking about you- But baby faced."

He rolled his eyes and went back to focusing on his food. After some time of more conversation Eduardo stops and looks at you seriously.

"(Y/N)... I know this is really sudden but.. I can't really put this off any longer. I need to tell you... while we're alone."

You studied Eduardo's expression which had suddenly changed. "What is it..?" You patiently waited for him to continue.

He looked deep into your eyes. "(Y/N)... I really like you and... I want to be with you. Your funny, your lovely and I just want to be with you so..." He suddenly pulls out some chocolates from the basket. "Will you be my girlfriend?"

You kissed him on the forehead and took the chocolates. "Yes, I'd love to. Besides, you really do know the way to my heart." Onlookers (about 2 people) clapped. Eduardo pulled you into the hug and you spent the walk back holding hands and being lovey-dovey.
