Chapter 18

Anger rushed over Junhoe's body. "What did you said?"

"I said she came to me, she came to find me, I didn't ask her to." Junhoe felt a lump at his throat when Jinhwan said that. He doesn't wanted to believe in what Jinhwan and Donghyuk  had said but deep down he knows that they're both telling the truth. And the truth apparently hurt so damn much.

Junhoe suddenly crouched down on the floor and covered his crying face with his trembling fingers. He hates it, he hates how everything is still not working out after Haejung is already married to him for a few months now. He hates how Jinhwan is still in his wife's heart, he hates how Haejung still loves Jinhwan.

Jinhwan, on the other hand, doesn't know what to do. He knows it well that it wasn't fully Haejung's fault. He kissed Haejung, he pulled the ring out of her fingers. It's his fault that Haejung's been caught. But that's not the biggest problem. Jinhwan feels like a total asshole right now seeing his friends crying his heart out like that.

Jinhwan admit, it was always his fault. He knows this himself too, but he can't let go of Haejung. He knows what he's doing right now is wrong, so wrong that he's about to break a sweet married couple apart.

He doesn't know what to do. So he just stood there looking at Junhoe in a crying mess.

Haejung quickly stuffed all of her stuff into her bag as she glanced up at the clock that's in the coffee shop. She's late for dinner. She pulled the straps to her shoulder and quickly rushed out the shop.

She rushed to the bus stop and unfortunately the bus won't be here until another ten minutes. So Haejung decided to wait, she didn't want to bother her husband, who's probably sitting on the couch watching random shows, waiting for her to come home for dinner.

She sat down on the bench and her eyes landed on a couple across the street. The two was having a really sweet moment with the boy feeding a girl, which she assume to be the boy's girlfriend, ice cream. Haejung smiled slightly at the sight. She remembers when Junhoe and her used to go on these sweet dates. She's happy that they got married, she really am. Haejung's smile slowly faded when she saw another boy walked into the scene. He pulled the other boy's collar and pulled him up from the chair that he's sitting on. The furious boy then send a punch to the other boy's cheek. Both Haejung and the girl covered their mouth immediately. Haejung is shocked at how fast the scene changed. The girl got up from the seat and stopped the furious boy from throwing punches on the poor boy's face. The girl cried out but the furious boy pushed her away and glared at her. She saw the boy pointed at her while shouting something at her. The girl cried, the furious boy then too, Haejung saw him wiped his tears away harshly while walking away, no matter how hard the girl tugged on his arms and asked him to stop, he just won't listen. Haejung and other people, who's also looking at the scene gasped when he harshly pushed the girl to the ground.

The bus just had to block everything. Haejung didn't know why, her heart felt uneasy when she saw what was happening just now. She felt like something is not right, something familiar with that is going to happen to her soon.

She got in the bus and went home. She opened the door and shouted the usual words. "I'm home."

But soon she realized the place she called home, isn't really a home anymore.

"Get out."
