"Mom you should eat." To be honest, the table is too quiet, too quiet that Haejung felt uncomfortable. They always chat while eating so that it won't get boring.
Mrs. Yoon stared up at her daughter and forced a smile. "I'm not hungry. You should eat."
Haejung did ate, a bite or two. Junhoe is worried seeing the two of them like this, if Mr. Yoon is here he wouldn't like this, but again it wouldn't end up like this if he's here.
So Junhoe end up forcing them to eat. He put more food into their already full plate. "Eat up, dad wouldn't want this."
Mrs. Yoon looked up to them and stared at them for awhile. She knows that she's not the only one who's heart broken right now. But she have to be strong because she's a mother, she have to be strong, she must.
She smiled and stuffed a spoonful of food into her mouth. "There, now you too Hae, eat up."
Haejung gave her mother a smile as an reply and too stuffed a spoonful of food into her mouth, but it's salty, why is it salty? Her vision is blurry too, and cheeks is wet, ahhh it's salty because of the tears, I'm crying.
The both stopped eating and stared at Haejung, who is now crying while smiling at the same time with food in her mouth.
"Ahhhh!" She laughed bitterly and blinked her eyes. "Why is it so salty?"
Mrs. Yoon too started to tear up at the scene. She knows that her daughter is trying to act strong in front of her, to tell her that everything is going to be alright. But she knows that Haejung is not ok, how can she be? Haejung likes following her father around when she's little, she likes hugging him, likes his story telling, his awful joke, Haejung likes them all, she loves her father. So tell me, how can she be okay?
Mrs. Yoon walked to her daughter and hugged her tightly. Haejung cried loudly in her mother's arms. "I...I miss him..him..."
Mrs. Yoon patted her head softly. "It's okay...we're okay..."
Junhoe couldn't help but too wet his eyes too. He too joined the hug. "It's okay, I'm gonna protect you guys."
Losing someone important in your life is hard to accept. But you have to learn to move on because everyone come and go, no one will stay by your side forever, not even your dearest family. One day is either they'll leave you or you'll leave them. That's why there's the word 'move on'. But sure you can choose to stay in the same step and not move, no one can actually force you too. You are the one who wrote your story, it's you who decide your ending.
Haejung tried moving on, sure sometimes she'll still tear up when she thought about her father but at least she's not shutting herself from anyone and stop eating, she's still her.
Today the couple is going to the mall, it's been a few weeks since they went grocery shopping, the house is out of foods. They moved back to their house a few days ago too, because Mrs. Yoon told them so, she even make some funny jokes about them so Haejung thinks it's fine now.
"Hmm... do we need to buy some potatoes?" Haejung asked with her head resting on Junhoe's shoulder, arms wrapped around his.
"Nah, I think we still have them, the only food in the house, we don't really like potatoes remember." Haejung nodded and they walked to the snacks section and saw two familiar face.
"Hyelin?" They frowned when they saw who's beside her. "Donghyuk?"
