Alright so Jacob doesn't really care about his weight too much. But when he meets Emma he starts to feel super self conscious and like a blob.
But Emma doesn't care at all. She loves him so much, every extra pound, because he's so warm and soft and squishy and hugging him is actually the best thing in the world. Like Jacob Portman gives the best hugs you could ever imagine. And he has such a cute lil round face and rosy cheeks and he's just amazing.
And Abe was extremely skinny given the time period so they look less alike which makes it even better for Emma because she loves Jacob as Jacob
And like sometime after los some dumbass calls Jacob fat and and all the kids are like ????? did you really just call Jacob Portman the great hollow slayer and savior of the peculiardom fat???
And the idiot ends up on the ground with a broken nose, a burnt neck, and 5 million bee stings because they're not having any of that. They won't let anyone talk to their Jacob like that because they think he's just perfect as he is
I will actually fite you if you have anything bad to say about this headcanon cause it's so cute and pure
