The racial controversy in this fandom frustrates me quite a bit to be honest
Yeah it might be technically canon that literally all the children are white but that doesn't mean you should bash on people who want to say that the characters (in their minds) are of different races
Poc want and need representation and you're seriously gunna tell them that it's not right just because of a couple of pictures and the fact that Tim Burton definitely white washed that movie (don't try to argue with me. It was a great movie in itself but the only person of color was the villain okay)
Also, I've seen a lot of comments like 'they can't be this race because they're from here'. It's called immigration. Especially for Fiona's character a while ago I saw a fact about how at some point in history a lot of Africans immigrated to Ireland
If you want to stick with the fact that everyone is canonically white you can do that. Just please keep it to yourself when someone decides they see that character as a different race.
