•His dreams started of very minor
•Like his first prophetic dream was the fact that his mother was going to surprise him with his favorite breakfast the next morning
•He had a best friend who was as normal as they come
•Horace developed a huge crush on his friend
•The feelings were not returned
•His father found out about these feelings and beat Horace profusely
•He wasn't allowed to leave, because his father feared people would find out
•One night he dreamt of how to escape his horrible situation
•The next day he did so
•He spent a week or so running
•Then Miss. Peregrine found him
•She wasn't sure about him
•Until Horace said he had a dream about her
•And told her a boat load of random things about herself
