not so typical sleepover(s)

kalynn's pov
Erin and i are best friends and our parents knew each other since before we were born! so we basically grew up together. other than the time where erin had spent a year in maryland in grade 4. We still face timed every day and we were basically a mess without each other, even at ten years old.
my twin brother weston is pretty close with Erin too, but recently he's been bothering her a lot. it's to the point where she gets stressed about coming over! although in sixth grade they had a little crush on each other and it completely weirded me out, but i'm pretty sure they're over it.

today erin is back from her cheer competition in atlana and i haven't seen her in a little over a week, which felt like months. she's gonna sleep over and i told weston to stay out of our way. Hopefully he'll listen this time.

erin pulled into her driveway (she lives across my house) and as soon as she got out she ran over to my house not even going to her own, this is basically her second home.

"erin!!" i yelled.
"hey kalynn!" she yelled back.
we set up in the spare room on the bunk bed that's there. the room is in the basement but it's super cozy and doesn't feel like a basement.  erin took the top like she usually does.

we finally settled in when my mom called for erin from downstairs. confused, erin went up to see what's going on.

she came down 5 minutes later and told me she had to stay here for the week because her parents have a business trip that was urgent and they're leaving to Maryland for 7 nights.
erin's stuff is at home but she lives right across the street so we walked over there and packed what she needed.
when we came back down to the basement weston was down there playing video games.
"weston erin's staying the week we're gonna be down here. can u go play upstairs or something" i told him
"uh no i'm almost done kalynn just chill a second, ok?" he replied not even looking back.
i rolled my eyes and walked over to the spare room where we're staying. "sorry erin, weston is purposely being this way to bug you. he'll stop"

"it's okay don't worry, we have all week" she smiled

erin's pov
i'm sleeping over at kalynns for a week and i'm not gonna lie, i'm super excited but kinda nervous because weston and i don't get along like we used to, which i miss...
he just likes to tease me now and pick on me so it's annoying.

it's pretty late right now and weston didn't really bother us much today and i'm kinda glad, but a little confused.
but it didn't last.. as soon as kalynn went up to shower i went to open the door to the room i was staying in and a water balloon fell from the top of the door to my head leaving me soaking wet.
"weston!!" i yelled whipping the water off my face
"it's just water" he laughed
i rolled my eyes and grabbed my stuff to change.
when i came back out i saw him sitting on the bottom bunk.

hi! sorry for not continuing the first story i just couldn't get back into it. let me know if you like this one and i'll continue (it's pretty boring right now but it's gonna get better)
