time skip to friday
westons pov
the past few days were pretty normal. we haven't had a real kiss since the first night and i lowkey want it to happen again. but i feel like it won't.
anyways julia's campfire is tonight and erin and i are going there together.
"erin you ready to leave?" i called from upstairs
"almost!" she called back.
"weston come down here" she added
i went downstairs and saw her sitting on the bottom bed with a pile of shirts next to her
"okay weston you choose which shirt because i can't decide" she said
"oh okay. well i like the blue one" i pointed
"okay thanks" she said grabbing it from the pile.
i checked my phone since it buzzed but as soon as i looked back up she started to pull off the top she was already wearing and i stopped her immediately
"IM STILL IN THE ROOM" i yell/laughed.
*when we were really little we've literally seen each other naked and now we cringe when we even talk about it. but we've also changed in front of each other many times back in junior school and part of middle school.. it's weird i know, but ... i guess it's fine.*
"I THOUGHT U WERE ON YOUR PHONE AND NOT PAYING ATTENTION" she yelled.
both of us turned red
"I WAS JUST CHECKING MY NOTIFICATIONS" i started laughing.
"okay either you're gonna turn around or i'm just gonna change right now" she joked
"nah i'll stay right here" i said sarcastically while opening the door to get out.
we finally were ready to leave and we headed over to julia's house.
"hey julia!" we said when we got there
"hey guys! come to the back we're all just hangin out." she said
we followed her to the back and i saw brett and zach. there was only one other girl there, haley.
we gathered ourselves around the campfire and haley suggested we play truth or dare
"i'm down" i said
"yeah i'll play" erin said
everyone agreed to play so we started with haley
"uhhh brett truth or dare" she asked
"dare" he said.
"i dare you to. uh post a pic on your snapchat story of you kissing julia's cheek" she said.
"woah uh. alright" he smiled at julia, her cheeks turning red
brett took the picture and then posted it to his story. ignoring all the responses he was getting immediately after.
"alright zach truth or dare" he asked
"i don't feel like gettin up.. truth!" he laughed
"alright well if you had to pick one girl here to make out with.. who would it be?" brett smirked
"haley" he smiled
haley blushed and smiled at zach
"ok julia truth or dare" he asked
"dare?" she said sounding unsure.
"alright now it's your turn, go kiss weston for at least 3 seconds" zach said
my eyes widened and i looked at erin and she shrugged. i guess zach is just trying to tease me?... then julia motioned for me to put my thumb over my lips to do a stage kiss because she knows erin and i are lowkey...
julia started leaning in and soon backed away
"i can't do this" she looked at erin
"julia it's fine" erin smiled
the guys just made chicken noises.
julia rolled her eyes at the boys. she leaned in and kissed me for about 3 seconds
then i realized i forgot to cover my lips and we really kissed.
i instantly looked at erin and mouthed sorry.
she gave me a thumbs up then smiled and mouthed "it's okay", and julia sat down looking guilty and embarrassed.
"ok haley t or d?" julia asked
"dare" she said
"alrighty well i dare you and zach to go up to the neighbors and ask for toilet paper
"really julia"
"UR NOT KISSING ANYBODY YOU SHOULD BE GRATEFUL" julia spat, then laughed.
so haley and zach did the dare.
when they got back we continued to play for a little while longer. the only other kissing dare was for zach and haley, it was a 4 second make out session. pretty awkward considering haley is new to the school and haley is so gentle and innocent.
after that everyone went to change so we could go in the hot tub.
we just relaxed and caught ourselves up in the latest crap happening at school. i sat with erin and noticed her fighting to keep her eyes open. "guys erin and i are gonna go home" i said
"good idea" erin yawned.
we got out to go change back into our clothes and we noticed they were gone. and so were everyone else's..
