erin's pov
we ran home as it was starting to rain. we're not too far from the beach but still not that close.

when we finally got back home we were soaked. my parents and his parents were out for dinner but kalynn was home.

we walked into the house calling for her to bring dry towels

"eww you two what happened?" she laughed
"we ran home from the beach, and it's pouring outside in case you haven't noticed." weston said

"oh yikes, can i just hose you two off in the back first?" she laughed

we nodded and kalynn brought us to the back.

she sprayed us with the cold water and we were freezing!
"okay okay pass us the towels" weston said
"oh i only brought one, but it's big just share it" she laughed
we went inside and then actually showered. separately of course.

"erin i'll give you some clothes, you don't need to go back and change
"thanks kalynn" i said

she gave me a pair of my cheer shorts that i left at her house back in NC and also gave me a sports bra, sweatpants and a shirt

i changed and came downstairs to wait for weston. kalynn and i ordered pizza.

weston came down and the pizza guy came so we ate.
we pretty much just hung out and watched tv until about 9 o'clock, when i realized that i still gotta get ready for school

"alright well school starts tomorrow, so i better go home and get ready. thanks guys! see ya" i said

"byeee" kalynn said
"see yaa" weston said

i woke up at 6:30 am and got changed, brushed my hair and my teeth then i put a bit of makeup on.

i walked over to the kourys house to get weston and kalynn.

"you ready?" i asked nervously
"yup" they said nervously.

we left the house and walked over to the school which was also conveniently close.

that's when i noticed nathan!
"hi nathan!" i ran and hugged my cousin
"erin!! you're here!" he smiled
"you remember weston and kalynn right?" i asked
"oh for sure" he replied. they said hi and he kinda looked at kalynn shyly.
whatever, she's a pretty girl who wouldn't be shy around her?

nathan introduced us to a few of his friends.
"okay erin, kalynn, weston. this is blake and
mario"
mario had curlyish dark hair and dark eyes, blake had lighter hair and blue eyes.

"hi!" we smiled and shook their hands
they were very friendly and offered to have lunch with us later on.

when the bell rang it was time for us to go to homeroom.
weston and i had homeroom together, and almost every class except gym
kalynn and i only had gym and math. which kinda sucks, but i guess i'll make some friends. i hope.

the school was really nice, and i just met someone named tessa who was really pretty and super nice
she had light brown hair, green eyes and she's a little taller than i am.
she said she'd sit with us at lunch too, since she's friends with mario nathan and lucas.

when it was time for lunch we all met up, kalynn was with this pretty blonde girl, she was short and very smiley
"hey guys this is Liliana!" kalynn said as she sat with us.
"hi guys! y'all can call me lily" she smiled
we said hi, she seemed very nice.
"wow you just natrually found the rest of our squad" nathan laughed
"woah spooky" weston laughed

we actually had fun at lunch! people were saying hi as they recognized us as the new kids, and everyone at our table exchanged numbers and already made a group chat!
lily invited everyone to her house on friday after school, so why not?

when school ended i walked home with kalynn weston and nathan, we went to my house to hang out for a bit
