next day

erin's pov
...
weston called me over to his house
"let's all go get ice cream" he smiled.

so we walked over to the ice cream place with kalynn and got our cones.
we were walking around, laughing and having a great time. weston stuck his head in front of me to lick my ice cream
"mmmmmm" he laughed after he licked my scoop
"hey!" i laughed
"sorryy. Here, try mine" he said handing me his
hesitantly, i went to try his but he squished it in my face.
"weston!!" i whined jokingly
"bullseye! haha but sorry again i mean it this time" he apologized and laughed at the same time. Then he wiped my nose and lip with a napkin.

i noticed that kalynn just stood there looking kinda grossed out by us, also looking left out. i really appreciate her being so supportive of us.

i noticed the guy she liked, ian, was on the bench. so i walked over there alone and tapped him on the shoulder
"hey ian you like kalynn right"
he looked up at me startled a little, then replied shyly.
"uh yes.. but never mind that she doesn't like me"
"ian come here" i grabbed his wrist and pulled him up
"go ask her out it will make her day. don't ask any questions just trust me " i told him
"oh, okay"
surprisingly, he listened.

he walked up to kalynn and they started talking. i stayed back but close enough to hear

i know they talk a lot so it's not like they're strangers, we've known him since first grade and he's actually a pretty good friend of westons.

"we've gotten really close this year and i've always liked you, i don't think you even knew.. even though you're my date to homecoming.. but would you wanna go out with me?" he smiled
kalynns face lit up
"of course!" she smiled, blushing
"i've always lowkey liked you too" she laughed
ian hugged her and kalynn hugged back

"ooo weston ian's got a girlfriend" i said
"oh who?" he asked
"kalynn!"
"woah didn't see that coming.. he better be good to her" weston laughed

"he will" i smiled
wait..
"oh my gosh homecoming is this friday!" i said
"weston are you sure you wanna go like i'd be happy staying home and watching a movie or so-"
"we're going" he said covering my mouth with his hand.
i licked it so he'd move away
"eww" he laughed while wiping his hand on his pants.
"oops sorry" i laughed
he makes fun of me for apologizing too much but i can't help it!

eventually we walked home and i got ready for cheer practice.
sometimes weston and kalynn come to watch. weston used to just come because of all the girls but kalynn usually kept him stable.

today they decided to come because they haven't in a while and they were bored. it's so nice of them to come and support me and keep me company when i walk home.
but tonight was a little different ...
